Merriam’s turkey hunting is extremely successful and our birds are pure descendants from the initial birds released in northwest Nebraska in 1959. Guided hunts for 2 birds in a relaxed but serious atmosphere produces lots of action.

All of our trophy big game hunts take place during the rut with most of the hunting done from ground stands overlooking travel corridors to and from feeding and rutting areas, Your stand site provides you with a large glassing area but puts you into adequate shooting distances for a good clean harvest.

Our goal is for our clients to harvest Pronghorn in the 13's and 14's. We only offer 2 hunts per year.

Information about this special

It is $975 per three day hunt per person ($1750 for pair of hunting adults). It is $825 for youth 8 to 15 years of age. There is no age limit to hunt turkeys in Nebraska but we do ask that hunters be at least 8 years of age and that hunters 8 to 12 years of age be accompanied by their guardian or mentor(at least 19 yrs. of age) while in the field (please, no more than one discounted youth per any hunting adult). All youth hunters 12 to 15 MUST have a Hunters Safety card to hunt. This is a state law and will be enforced. It is $250 for one extra tom turkey. This hunt includes two tom turkeys, lodging, blinds, decoys, and professional guide; but does not include license fees, permit fees, shells or gratuity.
