Nushagak Guides is offering fall Combo hunts for huge trophy coastal brown bears and monster Alaskan Moose. You will mostly be in remote tent camps in the Wood-Tikchik State Park. Most of the hunting will be out of boats, running the lake and watching the salmon streams for big bears that flow into them. Sept season 10th-30th for bears and the 5th-15th for moose. The average bear in the fall is 8' to 9'6". This time of year, the bears are fat and have great hides. The average bull moose is 60+ inches for nice palmation. This is a highly successful hunt to harvest a great trophy bear and a monster moose!
