3rd Season Rifle Colorado Elk Hunts. Now only $1500. Save $250 per hunter for a group of 4. November 7-13, 2010. Some of the most beautiful and abundant elk habitat is on the plateau of Colorado’s Flat Tops Wilderness. This outfitter concentrates on bringing hunters clear to the top. This unguided, drop camp hunt will take place at 10,000 to 11,000 feet elevation. It takes from 3.5 to 5 hours on horseback, but it’s worth it because the harvest opportunities increase. There is only one wall tent for both sleeping and cooking/dining. A complete kitchen and two burner propane stove, lantern and a table with one chair for each hunter is also provided.
Also available is an archery antelope hunt for $1250 with a $300 reverse trophy fee. Dates are September 6-9, 2010.
