British Columbia Rifle Elk Hunting Specials. Was $5000 and NOW $4500. September 9-16, 2010 and September 19-26, 2010. Located in the southeast corner of BC, Canada, Cranbrook is the regional center of the Kootenays with a population of 20,000. Nestled on sloping plains, Cranbrook faces the Purcell Mountains to the west, and the Rockies to the north and east, hunts with this outfitter are done exclusively on horseback. Excursions are based from one of two main camps, which allow access to the ancient Rocky Mountains and local Purcell Mountain Range.
This is a rifle elk hunt. Hunters will also have supplementary whitetail and mule deer tag with no trophy fee if harvested. Elk in this area range from 280-360 class bulls. The hunt includes lodging, meals and guide service.
