Texas Varmint Hunting Testimonials

On January 18 & 19, 2008, myself, Dr. Ron Killingsworth and my son, Detective Allen Killingsworth, went on a guided varmint hunt outfitted by Texas Varmint Hunts. We hunted on a huge ranch south of Pecos, Texas. I have been on guided hunts in the past and was so dissatisfied that at one point I thought I would never risk it again. However, after hunting with "Texas Varmint Hunts" and Travis Weir, I would recommend this outfitter without any reservation whatsoever. Travis absolutely went out of his way to set us up with a hunt of a lifetime and delivered on everything, and more, that he promised. Travis went the extra mile to cater to our every whim and desire. The equipment that was used in the hunt was first class, the accommodations were outstanding, and Travis' knowledge of the lay of the land on a 100,000 acre ranch, was more than could ever be expected. It was so refreshing to get with a guide that was organized and ready to hit the ground running when we arrived. I guess the greatest testimony to how pleased we were with the outfitter and the hunt itself is that as we drove away on a long 6 hour drive home, while we had been up and at it for many hours, we were running on adrenaline, we talked all the way home about the hunt, reliving the experiences over and over, and a couple of times laughed until we cried, and said to each other that if "we could, we would go back tomorrow".
