To Steve and the enire staff at AML...Was lucky enough to spend two weeks up there this year. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, from meeting fellow musky guys all over the country to learning tips how to properly fish a trophy lake like Eagle. I saw more 50"+ fish in two weeks then I have probably seen in my life. To echo the sentiments of many, this is a first class camp that I see myself coming to for years to come

Steve,
Jeff and I would like to thank you for a great week fishing, eating, and relaxing. Your staff and accommodations are top notch. Thanks for the use of your gear and advice, especially for two guys who had no idea how to musky fish. It was a pleasure fishing with you as well. I want to personally thank Andy for putting me on my biggest fish ever with that fat hogging 48". That one may just get replicated and put over my fireplace. The only good thing about being back to reality is that my arms need a rest from throwing that double bladed bucktail all week. I told Jeff that his 41 isn't bad either for someone who basically has never fished before. Thanks for showing him how to cast the baitcaster too! I think were both hooked now on musky fishing....you said they call you the "Pusher." Thanks again, hope to see you in the future.

What can I say, AML is the place! Amazing resort, great staff, guides who share knowledge and help get you onto fish. Thanks Herbie and all of your staff. It was also great meeting and chatting with Scott. He is a great addition!
Our week was tough fishing but we ended up with 9 in the boat. 7 on Spanky Baits and 2 on suckers. Herbie you spoke wrong on your latest report. I alone had 8 oppertunities at legit 50"+ fish. Several were 53" but the pig dog down west was 55-57 and If I didn't have to do CPR on Bush I might have boated her. Actually we were both shaking. Chad was the hot stick boating 7 of the 9 and he had some cracks at big girls too.

We fished in shorts and sandals then switched to winter gear as is snowed. Winds like we had were tough for boat control, but we managed. Never seen a lake drop temp.s so fast ever. That just meant we had to turn things up a bit.

361 days left until AML trip

Again, Thanks and see you next year!
