Rocky Mountain Elk Ranch is one of the view places I have hunted and actually felt at home. The Lerwills are great people and provide a very relaxing, family oriented, exciting elk hunting opportunity. The food was all home cooked and we ate like kings. The elk hunt couldn’t have been better. The bulls were rutting and bugling and they were monsters. We took a beautiful 6x6 with a bow. The scenery and ranch couldn’t have been better for elk hunting. Open meadows, timbered draws with aspens and pines, a beautiful creek that the lodge overlooks, and sunsets to die for. I have never been in a nicer lodge; big screen TVs, pool, and clay pigeons off of the back deck. Overall it was definitely a 5 star Elk Hunt.
