"WOW!!! Three color bears and one black in one hunt" as said by North America's Favorite hunting couple and hosts of Archer's Choice, Ralph & Vicki Cianciarulo.

"This is first hand spot and stalk bear hunting at Batnuni Lake that gets our blood pumping and hearts jumping off the charts. It's not about ego's, it's about the hunt, the fun, and the heartpounding thrills that make spot and stalk bear hunting a passion that no one can deny."

“This region is well known for large black bear, which typically range between 5 and 7 feet square. They occasionally have opportunities at “phase” colored bear as well. Moose and wolf are also plentiful in this region. Jim and Lyle conduct “spot and stalk” method bear hunts and made the adventure easy for a non-Canadian citizen by processing all of the necessary paperwork and providing timely tips regarding transport of firearms from the US into Canada. They kept in close communication from the time of booking and even called and let me know what to expect and organized a meeting place and time just before they took their first group of spring hunters into the bush.

In a matter of 5 ˝ hours I had one of the most memorable hunts I have ever had etched into my mind. My guide has earned my respect in many ways and got us through some tight spots like it was a Sunday stroll. The anticipation of seeing bear all week but not firing a shot added to the intensity of the hunt and by the end of the week I had lost my city-boy views. This was my 1st guided experience and will not be my last. If you ever want to hunt black bear in central BC you really should contact Batnuni Lake Guide and Outfitters. “

Just wanted to drop a quick note of thanks. My father and I had a very nice time on our hunt with Lyle, Al and most important, Bonnie (great cook!!!) You have a beautiful area up there and we were also impressed with all the game we saw. We hope to book a moose hunt in the next year or so to help thin out that moose herd you have. I had a very good time hunting with Al, as he is a very knowledgeable and capable guide and I learned a lot from him. Thanks again."

I would like to send a line thanking you for the great time that I had hunting with you. I appreciate the fact that everything that I had hoped for from you as an outfitter was exceptional. This was a trip of a lifetime for me and your thoroughness and friendly atmosphere assured that all my expectations were met. From the aspect of the setting up the hunt, the tenacity of my guide, and the camaraderie when enjoying the great meals together, it was awesome! Even if I hadn’t met with the success that I did in my hunt, by day five, I felt very satisfied with the hunt. Getting my trophy color phase chocolate bear was the added bonus! Again I want to say thanks to everyone, Rusty my guide for sticking with me, for Bill and Phyllis for the relaxing mealtimes and great food to boot and Jim and Lyle for bringing it all together. I definitely give your place a “two thumbs” up and you may share that with anyone who would ask.
