Wolf watcher – if you would have read what I wrote a little more closely, you would have noticed that I cited two separate instances. The first one was a pack of wolves killing a teacher in Alaska on March 12, 2010.

The second reference was a pack of wolves killing six sled dogs in 2007. The villagers where the sled dogs were killed happened to kill a rabid wolf after they started guarding their village from the wolves.

We know wolves, the brave beasts that they are, hunt in packs. Since you know so much about rabies, you should think it through and realize that a rabid wolf would most likely kill on its own – and try to kill members of its own pack.

Never once was there mention about slaughtering an entire species. The point was now that the numbers are high, wolves need to be controlled by hunters. The more their natural prey become scarce, the more attacks on humans and domesticated animals will rise.

Most men just get a kick out of killing. It is the best thing they do and makes them feel powerful at the time. One glance over the shoulder of history will tell you that they can kill you, or your little children just as easily and have the same LAME excuses. My father said it very clearly, "Women teach you how to live, and men will teach you how to kill."

They say it is a love of nature, but, DUH!!!!, it is the killing of all things natural that you actually love. Pathetic, blind little non-gods that you are. Your deeds will come back to you 10 fold and your "truth" will be revealed for what it is, paltry excuses for simply the love of killing.

Talk about wolves as if they were evil because they hunt in packs. Ha, ever seen the footage of troops in Iraq or Afghanistan or Darfur or Rwanda or Germany or Israel or all the way through the annals of history to the first two men we ever wrote about, Cain and Abel. Men are so indoctrinated into the ways of killing that I wonder if they will ever have the heart to come out of the LIES and into the truth of our reality. We are energy and vibration and beings of light who can come out of our dense hate filled forms into what the Great Creator really intended. I am sure it wasn't... "Hey, watch me blast a hole in that fucker!" (~.~)

We all make choices, whether it is to be more compassionate and light-filled, or to be dark and bloody and dense. Don't come off as you are doing me or the world a favor by clearing off all the "vermin". What you are really doing is throwing everything out of balance.

@joaniemac You're right, you did cite two articles. However, Im not the only one that needs to do some fact checking. Go look up the attack in 2007. From one article
Ron Clarke, assistant director of the Division of Wildlife Conservation with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, said it was likely that all members of the pack are infected with the fatal disease.

Rabid animals don't always travel alone.

Maybe you aren't the one advocating destruction, but it's obvious from other comments that several people would rather see the entire species die than deal with them in more "humane" ways.

I guess after all the wolves are gone, we can go back to hunting humans. After all, they kill other people every single day.

Wolf lover...tree hugger...environmentalists....animal rights activists...What these all have in common is a respect for the planet as a whole, including all its inhabitants. Life is NOT a bitch, it is a gift. It is not yours to take away. It always amazes me when someone ascribes to the notion..."Kill them all and let God sort it out." How important do you think you are? No one gets out alive, so that of course includes you. When it is your time you can stand before your maker and say..."I spent my time here on this planet putting a bullet into everything that moved." Wow, won't you be so proud of your accomplishments. What will be the point of a life wasted this way? Enjoy your bitterness, you violent, angry little boy.

sure, i get the whole hunting on the ground with guns, and a good kill... but i hate the fact that some of the stupid people in alaska will shoot the wolves in the back from planes and sit there and watch them squirm while they get a kick out of it. it gets kind of ridiculous.

Know what i have to say to this crap and bull! this is wrong! think of us as wolves. we fight to live just as they do! our familys are like a wolf pack. we stick to who we know. a wolf only attacks human because we bult on their land and they where here first my grandmother always use to say. and what if you kill a mother wolf with pups? kill those to, why not shoot your own kid! or your own dog! what iv read so far in this is bull-crap wolves are just like dogs. and when a wolf attacks a human its because it need to live and you where stupid enough to try to get close. i hate and i mean HATE the fact hunters hunt wolves for no cause i mean hunting deer and stuff ok because they are over popualting but once we loose our wolves its over with, theres no going back.
i maybe 14 but i know alot because my grandmother taught me this before she died when i was 6! so know what keep killing wolves and let them kill you. want to kill something kill your self. we have more people on this earth than wolves so why dont you guys back off!! and thats what i have to say about wolves. i hope everyone in love with the wild dogs agrees with me.
