I got on a 21,000 ranch that was on a special program and something went wrong between the outfitter and the owner so the outfitter walked and the owner had 21,000 acres of Deer Elk and Antelope and no hunters.
So he had a "Fire Sale" on the guided Mule Deer or Guided Elk hunts with lodging and meals is a big fancy resort lodge usually priced at $6,500 for a 5 day hunt to $2995 for a week hunt. I ended up getting a sixxsix point bull, and since there were Mule Deer every where I got a hunt for that for $1200 and shot a huge 200 point Mule deer. They even had antelope available unguided no lodging or meals for only $1200. You can't beat this quality of animals, guiding and meals, service for anywhere near this price. I believe he is booked up for November and is booking December and it only goes until the 24th of December. Early December the big muleys are still rutty which is great.
