I am 33 years old, happily married to my wonderful wife, Crystal of 9 years. I have two beautiful boys and a new baby girl, ages 8, 2 and 4 months . I Grew up in Willcox, AZ, where I am currently living. I love the small town atmosphere, its a great place to raise my boys. I graduated from Willcox High School in 1994. I went to Glendale Community College, then decided to move back to Willcox. I worked for the Arizona Department of Corrections for 8 1/2 long years, then decided it was time to pursue my dream of owning my own business as a hunting guide and outfitter. I began my business as Wards Outfitters and am proud to say I have been guiding and outfitting full time for 6 years. It's hard work, but.. only working 4 months out of the year sure is nice! During the other 8 months of the year I produce videos for outdoor television shows and scout . I am very lucky to have such an understanding wife who puts up with all my hunting, fishing, spending and snoring! I have a great family and couldn't ask for anything more!

We offer fully outfitted and guided big game hunts for Elk, Mountain Lion, Coues Deer and Bear. Elk: Arizona Elk hunting is a spectacular event. Although it is extremely difficult to draw a tag, you can be sure the wait is well worth it, for you will be in for a truly unforgettable hunting experience.

Mountain Lion: The mountain lion is a magnificent trophy but an extremely elusive one, requiring the aid of well trained hounds. We specialize in hunting lions on dry ground without any need for snow. We have an excellent string of riding and packing mules that we use to travel the canyons, bluffs and ridges while looking for lion tracks.

Coues Deer: The coues deer has become an extremely desired trophy animal. Arizona has great habitat for these deer and as a result very high numbers of them. We hunt these deer in the months of October, November and December.

Bear: Arizona has excellent bear hunting, with the true potential of harvesting a world class animal. Bears in this state come in many color phases: Black, Chocolate, Cinnamon and Blonde. We hunt these bears in the months of August and September, when the food sources are plentiful.

Nichols Guiding Service is a full time year round outfitting and guiding service in the state of Arizona. We are family owned and operated. We are fully licensed, insured and permitted to guide on over 11 million acres throughout the state. We will hunt Bulls starting in September, when the mountains are alive with the sound of bugeling and the rustling of falling leaves; through December, where the Bulls have retreated to the canyons and thickets to pass away the winter. This DVD has 9 exciting hunts: 3 Archery, 2 Muzzleload, and 4 Rifle. With most of the bulls scoring over 350 and several that go from 380+ to a huge typical archery bull at 411 official.

I have been guiding big game hunts in Arizona and New Mexico for over ten years. I am a native Arizonian and have been hunting and fishing in the areas I hunt since I was a child. This intimate knowledge of the areas I hunt reflects on the quality of animals I have taken throughout the years. I employ only the most reputable guides in the areas that we conduct hunts in. I believe that an outfitter is only as good as his guides are. All my guides are licensed in Arizona and New Mexico and have a great track record for killing quality animals. Our goal is to put the hunter on quality animals and for the hunter to have an experience that he or she will not soon forget. Arizona is the premier state for western big game hunting. Although tags are hard to draw the hunter is surly in for the hunt of a life time. We are now booking for private ranch hunts for elk, deer, and antelope in New Mexico. We also have available unit wide tags for Elk in high quality units. All of these tags private or unit wide are guaranteed hunts. We can book a year in advance for anyone of these tags. Give us call availability is limited.

New Mexico has excellent opportunities at trophy Elk, Mule Deer, and Antelope. Unfortunately, the cost of a quality land owner tag is beyond the average hunters’ budget. So let us apply you for these quality hunts in New Mexico, you will be put in a separate drawing pool which increases your odds of drawing one of these quality tags. We can also apply you for Arizona hunts. Unfortunately, Arizona does not have this separate drawing pool but they do have a bonus point system, folks these tags are surely worth the wait. We offer fully guided or guide only hunts for all species.

New Mexico offers great opportunities for the mobility impaired hunter for Elk and Antelope. We can apply any hunter that qualifies for these hunts. So give us a call about these special hunts.
