North Powder Outfitters provides hunts for Blacktail Deer in Zone A & B. Prices vary with duration and hunt location starting at $2250 for 2 day spot and stalk hunt. We also have a limited number of season land leases for unguided hunts.

Our Bear hunts are done on private lands only. 2006 has been our best year ever for bears and we expect it to get better. Success has run 100 percent with multiple bears seen each day. These hunts are spot and stalk only. Dogs are never used. Price for these hunts is $3000 per hunter for 2 day hunt and includes accomodations. If you plan on booking one of our bear hunts, be prepared. This is often an up close and personal hunt. Most bears here are shot at 40 yards or less.

Looking for a fast paced exciting hunt? Come out on one of our wild hog hunts!! Possibly the most underestimated game animal in North America. Hogs can be hunted year round. Our hog hunts are spot and stalk only. Dogs are never used. Hunting pressure on any of our ranches is low so success has run %99 for 5 years. Be prepared, these critters are smart, fast and can be downright nasty!

Our Turkey hunts are done during the spring season only. This is our most productive time to harvest turkeys. Price is $475 per hunter and includes 1 bird. Hunts begin before daylight and end at 10 am. Book early, our spring turkey hunts fill up fast! Unguided dove and quail hunts are available on a few of our ranches in Shasta County. Prices start at $125 per hunter per day.

Pinnacles Wild Boar: This hunt is conducted in central California on private ranches totaling over 200,000 acres. We rotate ranches to insure hogs are never pressured. My outfitter on this hunt is a local legend with over 30 years experience outfitting. We believe we have the finest ranches in the state for producing trophy animals.

These boars are 95% True Russian and can be very aggressive. Most boars range from 200 lbs. to 350 lbs. with an occasional brute tipping the scales at 400 lbs.,and can have tusks to 5".

We hunt year round and average 99% success with a "no kill, no pay policy". This is a two day hunt in which a rifle, bow, or muzzleloader can be used. The no kill no pay policy does not pertain to archery hunters due to the toughness of these beasts.
