About Grizzly Bear: The Grizzly Bear, sometimes called the silvertip bear, is a powerful bear that lives in the uplands of western North America. Their coloring ranges widely across geographic areas, from blonde to deep brown or black, due to diet and temperature.
Grizzlies can be distinguished from most other brown bear subspecies by their proportionately longer claws and cranial profile which resembles that of the polar bear. In spite of their massive size, these bears can run at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour.[Wiki]

About Alaska Trophy Hunting
Experience the Ultimate Hunting Adventure on a Deluxe Hunting Yacht, as it cruises the vast and magnificent Coastal Waters of Alaska. View dormant volcanoes, rugged coastlines, and majestic mountains that seem to drop magically into the ocean. Cruise past ancient glaciers as they crawl into the sea creating walls of ice that tower hundreds of feet into the air. Observe Humpback Whales, Orca Killer Whales, Stellar Sea Lions, Seals, Sea Otters, and hundreds of thousands of sea birds in their Rookeries.
Hunt the giant Brown Bear, the Alaskan trophy that is included on the list of the "World's Top 10 Trophies" by world renowned hunters. Pursue the elusive pure white Mountain Goat that inhabits the Coastal Mountains of Alaska. Hunt them from the comfort of a yacht in September when their winter hair is six to eight inches long and they are migrating down from their lofty peaks to lower levels with the first snow fall. Enjoy an easy hunt in the Spring when the Black Bear are found along the shoreline coves and meadows filling themselves with beach grass. Add a handsome Sitka BlackTail Deer to your trophy collection. Hunt large trophy Moose on the Coast where the genetics can produce some hugh racks. Or take a break from hunting and enjoy some fishing for Salmon or the monster Halibut that are easily taken from the cold waters of Alaska.
Feast like kings on New York Steaks and chops, King Crab, fresh sea foods, fresh vegetables and fruits, good desserts, and plenty of snacks and beverages. All of which are easily kept chilled and fresh in the yachts spacious coolers.
The yacht has a wide range and can cover a great deal of hunting country. Depending on the animals being sought, your hunting area includes Kodiak Island, Afognak Island, the Alaskan Peninsula, the waters from Homer to Seward, Prince William Sound, and the Coast of Alaska from Valdez to Yakutat. You will be able to explore places that are difficult for other hunters to reach.
Vern Humble is your host and outfitter. He has over 30 years of experience hunting professionally in Alaska. About Canadian Mountain Outfitters
Welcome to Canadian Mountain Outfitters. We are a small, personalized Trophy Hunting operation in some of the most scenic, remote and wild country in Northern Canada. We offer a true Wilderness hunting experience for Stone Sheep, Mountain Goat, Moose, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, and Wolf. The landscape is quite rugged and mountainous with numerous streams, rivers, and lakes.
The opportunity to take a trophy animal is high as we receive little hunting pressure and take a few hunters each year. We do our best to cater to our clients' needs, but you need to arrive in good physical condition as some of the hunts can be quite demanding. Most of our hunts are 1x1, with 2x1 hunts being available. To best hunt the area we use floatplanes, horses, boats, foot and backpack hunting. We take rifle, bow, and muzzleloader hunters.
Our base camps are quite comfortable and are equipped with cookhouses, cabins, showers and outhouses. Spike camps utilize lightweight wall or backpack type tents. All equipment is new or in excellent shape. Our guides are some of the most enthusiastic, experienced and hardworking in the industry. We hope you consider Canadian Mountain Outfitters for your next wilderness adventure.
Grizzly Bears are hunted in September and are very plentiful. The largest bear taken in recent years was 8' 4" and qualified for the record book. Our area is considered to be one of the best in Northern British Columbia for trophy grizzly. Most hunters will see several bears.
