Feel free to bring your high-powered rifle for the hunt of a lifetime. No hunting permit required! The Farmstead is equipped with shower, kitchen, laundry room, and cable tv. When hunting we normally see an average of 15-30 deer per day.

We accommodate a group of 1 to 10 people. Bring Your Employees! Velvet hunts available in August. Hunts start at 7:00am and end at 10:00am. Evening hunts are 3:00pm to 6:00pm. When you place a deposit on a hunt you can upgrade or downgrade (depending on availability) whenever you come to hunt. We may also be able to move your days around should something come up in your schedule.

Open Dates Available. Velvet hunt - August 11, 12 & 13 Hard Antler hunt - September 11-17, October 3-8 Booking dates are going fast. When they're full thats all for 2008. We may have a cancellation for November. You have a choice of mature bucks scoring up to 140 gross B&C. Bronze Hunt: Your choice of any bucks in the preserve classified as bronze level bucks. These bucks will generally score between 140 and 154 gross B&C. Silver Hunt: Your choice of any bucks in the preserve classified as silver level bucks. These are outstanding deer that generally score between 155 and 169 gross B&C. Gold Hunt: You will be allowed to take any mature buck on the preserve classified as a gold buck. Hunters on a gold hunt can expect to have an opportunity to harvest a buck scoring over 170 gross B&C.

We our proud to offer a 170 to 180 class Whitetail Hunt for your hunting pleasure. We have only a few openings for September & November of 2008 - call now to see what dates are available. In the heart of the Canadian Plains, Hartland Ranch (just 45 minutes from Regina, Saskatchewan) is nestled in the beautiful Missouri Coteau. Hartland is situated at the second highest elevation in Saskatchewan that provides a spectacular 50-mile view.

The terrain is heavily wooded with deep valleys, babbling brooks and highlighted with some rolling prairie hills. This diverse landscape offers hunters numerous options for their daily hunt. Blinds are strategically located next to travel corridors to maximize hunter success.

Generally, Hartland’s hunting season begins September 1st and ends on December 31st. Special arrangements can be made to hunt at other times; for example in August for hunters who wish to take a trophy in velvet.

At Hartland we employ a variety of strategies to maximize your success in taking the trophy of your choice. These strategies include the use of ground blinds, tree stands as well as spot and stalk. Although many of our clients use rifles to hunt ; Hartland’s terrain is a bow hunters’ haven.

We strive to provide the best trophy animals possible for an memorable hunt. Magnificent Whitetails that can weigh over 350 lbs and score over 240 inches. Mule Deer that can weigh over 350 lbs and score over 200 inches. Rocky Mountain Elk that can weigh over 1200 lbs and score over 500 inches. Your choice of rifle, muzzleloader, or archery are options for all hunts.

From the deck of the lodge you can hear the spine tingling sound of bugling bulls and the rattling antlers of fighting bucks. On clear nights you may be treated to the unforgettable beauty of the dance of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).
