Ready Outfitters offers a variety of hunting packages to suit just about any individual's needs. We have 8 and 10 day combo hunts for elk, deer and bear that start in mid-September and continue through the end of October, and we can usually book our clients into the time frame they desire. We also offer limited hunts for goats and moose to hunters who have been lucky enough to draw one of the hard-to-get permits.

Our hunting area is unit 17, located in the northeast section of the Selway-Bitteroot Wilderness area. Trips begin at our corrals at the end of Lost Horse Road, approximately 20 miles west of Hamilton on the Montana-Idaho border, or Elk Summit Road on the Idaho side. From either corral, we saddle the horse and lead you on a 7 hour ride to our base camp, which is 21 miles from the trailhead.

Depending on the number of hunters or the movement of game, we also use spike camps situated deeper in the wilderness. The main camp consists of large wall tents, all equipped with propane lanterns and a wood-buring stove for heat. We prepare and serve meals at the base camp in our large kitchen tent, which is always warm and clean.

Your hunt includes a pass to Green Canyon Hot Springs just at the bottom of the hill where you can soak any tired or sore muscles in their thermally heated hot pool.

Our professional guide staff are some of the best in the business and are eager to help you bag that trophy bull you've dreamed of. We hunt on foot or 4-wheelers (Quads). Because this is a private hunt, we are not bound by season dates, you don't have to draw to hunt and you don't have to purchase expensive out of state licenses.
