Welcome to Twisted Oak Outfitters. Our goal is to provide our clients with 1st rate hunts. Riverside Lodge was established in 1961. The years of success are attributed to the location plus clean, warm and friendly accommodations. We could not ask for a better-situated location, as here we are "smack dab in the middle" of a major staging and feeding area for waterfowl, and surrounded by a massive habitat for Big Game.

Our area's ecosystem is very unique as it is a world class waterfowl hunting location as well as home to many of North America's mammals. Bear and Whitetail Deer thrive here with all of the water and old growth forest unnavigable by untrained persons. It is accessible by road but quickly opens up into a huge mass of wilderness naturally protected by it's own terrain. This is where our expert staff and equipment take over and safely transport hunters deep into the wilderness for the hunt of their dreams.

Manitoba is known for huge black bears and we have a 40%+ population of color phase bears and many trophy size bears, with 7- 8ft monsters taken in our hunting area. We also have huge Whitetail deer in our area, many which may have never seen a human. We spend many days of the year scouting and deciding on proper stand placement to increase your chance of success. Unlike some outfitters, we live and work here in the wilderness and this is what we do. It is not something we take lightly. We work hard all year to ensure your hunt is the best and we want you to tell everyone about it and come back again and again.

At Riverside Lodge we want to show you our hospitality and hunting is second to none. Our 4 clean H/K cabins are fully equipped with private shower and bathroom, comfortable beds and full kitchen. All towels, bedding, etc. is provided. We present 3 home cooked meals carefully prepared fresh daily by our Cook. Quality and quantity are guaranteed!
