Join us for the fishing trip of a lifetime in the barrenlands of Northern Canada's arctic. Experience some of the world's finest fishing on Mackay Lake for giant lake trout, northern pike and arctic grayling. I understand you are looking at hunting with True North Safaris. I was able to hunt there last year from Aug 26th through September 1st. It exceeded my expectations greatly. I killed 2 Caribou while I was there. 1 scored about 350 and the other scored 419. I also had a shot at a wolverine and missed it. Maybe next time. I am building a house right now but am strongly considering returning the same dates this year. The care and hospitality was 2nd to none. I run the Mule Deer Foundation and have had the chance to hunt many places and this is at the top of the list. If you have any further questions please feel free to email me. Also I host a radio show in Salt Lake City called "The Big Outdoors" it is on 1 time a week and it is on the Utah Jazz Sports radio station. I actually did the show live at their lodge last year while I was there on the satellite phone. It was awesome. It is all about hunting and fishing.

Wanted to take the time and thank you guy's for a excellent hunting experience at Warburton Bay Lodge. A person plans and dreams about hunting trips for a long time and when you actually book a trip you always have that unsure question " Did I book the right outfitter " I can now honestly say I did. True North Safaris made my dreams of hunting Caribou come true, I shot two trophy Caribou the first day. Anyone considering a Caribou hunt in the Northwest Territories should consider True North Safaris, hard working and knowledgeable guides, Excellent food, and an all out experience you'll remember for a life time. Thanks again to all the staff !!!
