About Andri Fox Safaris

Welcome to Andri Fox Safaris. I am Andri Fox and I am the husband to Erica and a father to two wonderful daughters. Andri Fox Safaris has become successful as an outfitter because of my personal experience as a fourth generation on the De Poort Farm.

My childhood was spend on this vary farm hunting and playing. It was here I learned my love for hunting. My first duiker was taken when I was only seven years old. Our family lived off everything I was able to procure.

In 1990 I gradated from high school and I immediately went into the police academy within the next year. After I completed my training I met my wife and was then married in 1992. It was in March of 1995 that I completed the Professional Hunters course and in 2000 I said goodbye to the police academy and followed my dreams to become a professional hunter and later own my own outfitting service- Andri Fox Safaris.

At the beginning of my professional hunting career I was employed by one of South Africa's largest hunting and guiding services. I bring with me 28 years of personal hunting experience along with 14 years of professional outfitting. Andri Fox Safaris has since successfully guided and outfitted over 100 overseas clients mainly from the US. Andri Fox Safaris has successfully harvested over 1200 trophy animals. I give thanks to those who I successfully guided who gave me the encouragement to branch out on my own, Andri Fox Safaris was born because of my clients.

Andri Fox Safaris has a million plus acres of privately owned property at it's disposal. Andri Fox Safaris is proud of the abundant and trophy size game it produces each year. I just arrived back from a 7 day hunt with Andri Fox, I must say it was the most unforgettable experience in my i have ever had. The Knowledge and professionalism that Andri possesses, is amazing. The hospitality that him/family, and his staff displayed was also just as esteemed as as his hunting ability's. I would recommend Andri Fox Hunting to anyone who has never been to S.Africa before. Or for Trophy Hunters that want the big one.. Andri will get ya to them.

I've been dreaming to hunt in Africa all my life, Andri far, far exceeded my expectations of Africa. He is a wonderful person, more than accommodating, and hilarious! Five day hunt, five animal package, he got me all 5 animals (plus a sixth - jackal) in Three Days!! Literally half of them are record book animals, and since we finished hunting two days early, Andri spent those extra two days touring us around Port Elizabeth. After the hunt we spent another week in Cape Town where Andri, who had no liability over us in anyway, was still more than accommodating, making sure we got in okay, as well as the quality of lodging, which was awful, but Andri fixed everything and set us up with a more suitable place to stay, as well as arranged a "tour guide / transportation" for us for the remainder of our trip. The best way to describe the experience with Andri Fox is that two days into our trip my family booked another hunt for two years down the road. We were there in two days and already we decided to come back. I will never hunt in Africa without Andri.
