What you can expect from the Anvik River Lodge is your own private oasis in a remote location with comfortable accommodations. Here at Anvik River Lodge you will feel like you have your own fishing preserve. There are very few other anglers, boaters, or float planes in our area, it is highly likely you won't see a soul while visiting here. Anvik River Lodge lays on 120 plus miles of tributary from the Yukon River.

Anvik River Lodge is nearly the only accommodations on the entire river. Our location is 450 miles from Anchorage and our nearest neighbor is 70 miles down stream.

It is hard to imagine yourself floating down the same river the Russian explorers traveled a hundred years ago in route for the mighty Yukon.

When you reserve your stay with Anvik River Lodge you will be privately chartered from Anchorage. After arriving in Anvik you will be taken upriver on a scenic tour of the shores of the Yukon and continuing up the Anvik River until you reach our secluded lodge. Anvik River Lodge sports all the at home amenities while in a extremely remote location. Our main lodge can accommodate ten to twelve guests in one of our five rooms. Each our our rooms have their own private baths. Walk into the hub of activity in our great room and enjoy the awe inspiring views from our picture windows, where everyone can gather to socialize and dine. Here at Anvik River Lodge we also offer a private cabin which can accommodate up to three guests. It is hard to imagine a week with only our hotel staff and other guests as your only companions.

Anvik River Lodge offers extreme fishing for five different fish species from Pacific Salmon, Northern Pike, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, Arctic Grayling, and Whitefish quite possibly all in the same day. Our fishing adventures also offer our guests incredible wildlife viewing of sow grizzlies teaching cubs to fish, along with the majestic moose, the illusive gray and black wolves, sea life, and over 50 species of migratory birds. Each trip out onto the river provides a spectacular sightseeing bonanza of Alaska at its finest.

Anvik River Lodge has been given high marks by previous guests for our traditional Alaskan cuisine. Many of our vegetables are grown in our own garden and our breads are homemade.
