Okay, so you don't think that hunting bison that reside with in a bordered piece of property buffalo hunting. Guess that all depends what bison hunting means to you. If it wasn't bison hunting the SCI (Safari Club International) would not recognize and have a scoring system for these buffalo hunts.

We are not going to convince you this Buffalo ranch hunt is the same as bison hunts where the closest bison you may see during the buffalo hunts is over 500 yards away and two mountain ranges over from where you are or that you get to ride hours into your camp on a horse or mule. If that is what you want, then these buffalo hunts are not for you. HOWEVER, if that is not what you desire then these bison hunts are for you. This buffalo hunting ranch provides a more relaxed and laid back atmosphere for the discriminating buffalo hunter that has constraints which offer him an OPTION from chasing that elusive bison all over the side of a mountain for 7 to 10 days, with absolutely no guarantee.

We can provide you with a most memorable hunting experience. Stalking on foot at 8,000 feet in oak brush and thick service berry bushes, through draws which can be your most exhilarating and rewarding hunt or for those who have physical challenges we can set in ground blinds over looking water.

A full service hunt includes: 3-5 day hunts, one-on-one or one-on-two guide service, hunting licenses, caping, trophy preparation, meat delivered to processor, comfortable lodging with home-cooked meals provided daily, transportation to and from Grand Junction or Montrose Airports. Our lodge which is rustic but modern includes: 4,400 square feet, sleeping facilities for couples/singles, private entrance to the rooms.

Fishing is also available in or private pond.
