Canoe Canada Outfitters - Ontario Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Sturgeon & Lake Trout Fishing on OUTDOORSMAN

The outfitters featured on our pages are some of the top in the industry. We have tried to remove some of the frustration and uncertainty by creating a format where outfitters can enter their information then update their pictures and videos so that you can visualize your pending experience, in addition, we have created an open forum where hunters who have spent time with your prospective outfitters can leave comments and leave contact information.

About Canoe Canada Outfitters

Spectacular canada fishing trips awaits the anglers on a wilderness canoe trip. We'll show you where the fish can be found. Since all travel is by canoe, fishermen practice catch and release fishing, only keeping what they need to eat. Even trophies are usually released, since it would be impractical to carry them out! Even remote fly in lakes are not as good for fishing as the waters of Quetico, since Quetico supports most of the major freshwater game fish: smallmouth bass, lake trout, walleye, northern pike, and even sturgeon.

Our route planners are experienced fishermen who know every lake in the park! While live bait fish are prohibited in Quetico Park, nightcrawlers and leeches are allowed. Most of our guests use artificial lures. The fishing is good enough, no live bait is really necessary. We have a complete selection in our tackle store. We strongly recommend the use of barbless hooks. We also have License Information available.

In the "Big Fish" category (according to guest reports), we had some lunkers taken again. Northern Pike - 23.5 lbs. (taken on Bow Lake); Walleye - 10.5 lbs. (taken at Dimple Lake); Lake Trout from Gamble Lake - 16 lb.; Smallmouth Bass at Sawbill Bay - 5.5 lb. Of course, these trophies are still in the lakes waiting for someone to try again next year.

Our catch and consume policy has been very successful over the years. We applaud our guests for their commitment to conservation. It was a pleasure working with all of you.

About Canoe Canada Outfitters

Fly In Fishing Trips Wilderness Campouts. Here is a great wilderness vacation for those people seeking complete solitude.

It Is A Unique And Relaxing Wilderness Float Plane Fishing Vacation. Here you can fish, swim and explore on your own remote lake in the heart of the great Canadian Shield country. With a comfortable cabin and excellent equipment, you can relax and escape the pressures of schedules and telephones.

We fly you by float plane from our base in Atikokan to a remote lake with no road access or cabins on it. Enjoy 5 or 6 days camping, canoeing, fishing and relaxing in the scenic solitude of the White Otter Wilderness. Abundant wildlife makes this an excellent trip for bird watching and outdoor photography.

Complete Ultra Lite Outfitting is included, just as in our Quetico Canoe Trips; all food, camping equipment, canoes, topographic maps/routing, round trip float plane fishing flights. We supply everything you need, but these are not established permanent camps. We fly all your outfitting in with you, and fly it out when we pick you up at the end of your trip. You only need to supply personal clothing and fishing tackle.

The Comforts Of Home In A Remote Wilderness Setting! On the softer side of remote wilderness travel, Canoe Canada has chosen several beautiful lakes in the White Otter Wilderness to build cabins. Accessible only by float equipped aircraft, these locations give privacy, comfort, great fly in fishing, and excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. We have boats and canoes on "side lakes" for a great day trip!
