About EAI Outdoors

Hunting Africa is the lifelong dream of many sportsmen. The plains and bush are filled with many species of animals unfamiliar to most hunters. They offer a challenging hunt with rifle, pistol or bow. Add to this the rugged scenery of Africa, comfortable lodging and fine food and you have a winning combination for a great hunt. We have designed our packages to bring Africa within reach of everyone. Most do not realize just how affordable African hunting actually is! This hunt takes place in the Eastern Cape area of South Africa. We have exclusive hunting rights on over 500,000 acres of prime land. This is a region of varied terrain from fertile valleys to steep mountains. It is home to large numbers of game. We have many years experience both as professional hunters and game managers. There are a number of key points that separate us from our competition. For example:

1) We are not based on one property. Many hunting operations are essentially large pens with either limited animals or animals stocked from auction or other sources. Even if they are 10-20 thousand hectares often natural production cannot keep up with the quality of trophies that hunters require without stocking. This is not us at all. All of our game is natural production. Because we have so much acreage we simply do not need to stock. For example many hunting operations will harvest 5 year old Kudu Bulls. We never shoot anything under 6 and mostly take 7 and 8 year olds. Because we have the exclusive game management rights on our properties we can wait for the animals to properly mature. Thus trophy quality is assured.

2) All our hunts are strictly fair chase. No shooting from trucks, roads, etc. We work for our game and offer a true hunt, not a shoot like many other operators. We also have over thirty thousand hectares that are bow hunting only. Our bow PH's are bow hunters themselves not rifle guides that work bow hunting on the side.

3) Eighty percent of our hunting takes place on the open range with standard cattle and sheep fencing. The other twenty percent is on high fence properties. Certain species can only be hunted year round in a high fence area, thus we need to use these properties as well.

4) Our payments to local farmers keep them in business and because we are so strict on what we shoot, their lands support huge numbers of game. We have a real conservation effort going on here that puts a lot of money into the local economy and supports a lot of families instead of just one person reaping all the profit.

5) We never mix groups! Even if you book with us alone you will have exclusive use of our camps and staff while you hunt with us. You will not have to worry about being put with someone that has the potential to spoil your hunt.

6) We have 3 different lodges plus the main lodge on the home farm. These are scattered as far as three hours apart but each is in a prime location for the species we hunt there. From these lodges we access our hunting lands. Normally we are within a half hour drive max of were we hunt and often we hunt the properties the lodge is on or next to. This freedom of movement gives us the ability to go were the game is and not to try and force the game to be were we are located.

7) I do not believe that you can beat our prices. We have very low overhead with our natural production so we do not need to mark up the prices knowing that we will have to buy game at auction to cover our hunts. Our trophy management assures that the animals are already there.
