Ross Hammock Ranch is located on Florida's west-central coast, less than 2 hours from Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Orlando. The Ranch has over 1500 private acres - the ranch has approximately 12 miles of border! It is approximately 50% food plots, cut-overs and planted pine forest and 50% hardwood hammock. It combines forest land and natural vegetation, with supplemental food plots/game feeders to maintain and grow trophy wildlife. This environment makes for a challenging hunt and a harvested trophy you can truly be proud of.
Hunting at RHR is done via tree stands and/or spot and stalk methods. Bay Dogs are available with prior request on Trophy Boar Hunts. RHR offers hunting via archery, rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader, or pistol for the following species: Whitetail Deer, Red Deer, Axis Deer, Sika Deer, Fallow Deer, Elk, Red Stag, Blackbuck Antelope, Wild Boar, Osceola Turkey, Exotic Rams, Goats and many African Species.
Ross Hammock Ranch offers true southern hospitality in a "Florida Cracker" setting. After your day afield or afloat, you'll enjoy delicious meals, hunting stories around the fireplace or watch a movie or ballgame on the 106" theatre screen. Sports bar includes games of billiards and darts.
In addition to hunting, we offer some of the most exciting guided fresh and saltwater fishing in the state of Florida. Just to the west of our ranch lies the rich sprawling saltwater flats of the Gulf of Mexico. Depending on the season, our guests catch Tarpon, Cobia, Red Fish, Trout, Shark, Grouper and other species.
