The outfitters featured on our pages are some of the top in the industry. We have tried to remove some of the frustration and uncertainty by creating a format where outfitters can enter their information then update their pictures and videos so that you can visualize your pending experience, in addition, we have created an open forum where hunters who have spent time with your prospective outfitters can leave comments and leave contact information.

About Self Guided Hunts
Self Guided Antelope Hunts offers the experienced hunter world class pronghorn antelope hunting with an opportunity to access private land without the added costs associated with pronghorn antelope hunting guides. We operate our pronghorn antelope hunts out of two ranches in eastern and central Montana. The Ingomar Ranch in eastern Montana is home for our pronghorn antelope hunts and prairie dog hunts, while the Martinsdale Ranch in central Montana is home for our whitetail deer hunts and elk hunts. We’ve tried to provide as much information as possible about our self guided antelope hunts on our website so be sure to check the various links. We will also be more than happy to do what we can to work with you in planning your pronghorn antelope hunts and answering any questions you might have about pronghorn antelope hunting.
Located in eastern Montana, the Ingomar ranch is host to one of the most impressive Antelope populations in the country. There are several antelope herds that are permanent residents on the 250,000 acre ranch. Although the antelope are free-ranging they are also territorial which keeps them within their home range on the ranch. The size of the ranch also allows us to better manage antelope hunting pressure throughout the season by rotating pronghorn antelope hunting areas between groups. We will never schedule pronghorn antelope hunts back to back for any particular area.
Depending on the size of your group you can expect your pronghorn antelope hunting area to be anywhere from 4,000-12,000 acres. You'll be the only ones assigned to your area so you won't have to worry about competing for antelope with anyone else. Because of the size of the ranch it also covers a wide variety of terrain from steep cliffs and buttes, to rolling hills and prairie, to winding coulee’s and river bottoms. However no matter where you may be on the ranch you will never be too far from one of the 100+ ponds and reservoirs where you will commonly find antelope watering.
Come join us for a Pronghorn Antelope hunting experience you will never forget.

About Self Guided Hunts
Prairie dog hunts on the Ingomar ranch are like none other. Prairie Dog towns can range in size from a few acres to over 1 square mile. It is unknown just how many prairie dog towns exist on the ranch. One guess is well over a combined 10 square miles of prairie dog towns, however each year existing prairie dog towns grow, new towns appear, and old ones are discovered. One thing you can always count on is wondering whether or not you brought enough shells.
