About Thompson Long Range

THOMPSON LONG RANGE HUNTING SCHOOL: Don’t book another hunt until you have taken this long range shooting class! Take our years of combined experience, pack it into two days, and use it the rest of your life. Without a doubt, you will be amazed at your own ability and what you can do once you have taken this valuable long range hunting course.

During this long range shooting school you will: Learn Principles of long range shooting, Learn simple reloading techniques, Shoot these loads and see the difference in speed and accuracy and Move to the long range and advance at your own speed up to 1000 yards.

Simply call and book your spot in the long range shooting school & long range hunting course, then make your flight arrangements to Salt Lake City, Utah and ground transportation to Logan, Utah. We will provide hotel lodging and food.

The price of the 2-day long range shooting school is $1,550 for the first person and $1,000 for the second, up to four in a group. Shooting schools run from April to August.

During the shooting school we work exclusively with the Weatherby 30-378. No personal rifles accepted.

After the long range shooting is over these rifles are available for purchase for $3,200. These long range hunting rifles are fully set up and ready to shoot. If you wish to purchase a long range hunting rifle without attending the course they are available for $3,900 each.
