Hunt Central Canadian Barren Ground Caribou in what has been called "The Best Place on Earth to Hunt Caribou". Highly successful Arctic Wolf hunts in the barren lands, up the longest ice road in the world or on Great Slave Lake, the 6th largest lake in the world, or hunt the wolf packs that follow the Bathurst caribou herds into the trees where they winter. Two wolf tags are available per sport hunter and wolverine and fox are not in season at this time of year for non-resident hunters.

Spot and stalk hunts for "big and bold" black bears take place west of Great Slave Lake about 3 hours south of Yellowknife by road. Stay at a trapper's cabin and hunt after midnight as the days are long in the spring up here.

Our facilities are by far the best in the Northwest Territories and in addition to MacKay Lake Lodge, we have several tent camps which can be used for overnight camping out, depending on the location of the game.
