Udell's Guiding & Outfitting

Our moose hunts take place in the boreal forests of Northern Alberta. We access remote areas using the many roads,

pipelines and cutline’s that criss-cross the hunting area. We use calling techniques to bring the bulls into shooting range

from the dense swamps and thickets that they spend the day in. Bulls on these hunts average between 30-45 inches with

larger bulls being a real possibility.

Accommodations on this hunt will be in a comfortable wall tent camp in the heart of the hunting area. Tents are heated

with wood stoves and meals are all home cooked and hearty from our in camp kitchen.

We take a limited number of hunters each year to keep success high. This hunt can be done in combination with other

species like black bear, mule deer or whitetail. Combinations are limited so please enquire as to their availability.

Wolves can be taken on this hunt at no extra charge.

Dates for the rut hunt run from the last week of September through the first two weeks of October. The late season hunt

generally runs through the first week of November.

Rut Package: -$6000.00 plus GST (5%) –This is a 6 day hunt which includes pickup at the airport or pre-arranged meeting place if driving, transportation during

the hunt, accommodation and meals during the hunt, guiding and trophy care.

Our whitetail hunts take place in the boreal forests of Northern Alberta. We access remote areas using the many roads,

pipelines and cutline’s that criss-cross the hunting area. We hunt out of ground blinds set up in pre-scouted locations

between bedding and feeding areas. Blinds are outfitted with propane heaters to take the chill out of the cold November

days. Bucks on this hunt average between 130 and 160 inches with larger bucks being a real possibility to a patient

hunter.

Accommodations on this hunt will be in a comfortable motel near the hunting area. Hunters can relax after a long cold

day in the blind with a hot shower and a warm meal

We take a limited number of hunters each year to keep success high. Wolves can be taken on this hunt at no extra

charge.

Dates for this hunt are during the last three weeks of November to fall within the rut.

Whitetail Package: -$5500.00 plus GST (5%)

This is a 6 day hunt which includes pickup at the airport or pre-arranged meeting place if driving, transportation during

the hunt, accommodation and meals during the hunt, guiding and trophy care.

Not included are license costs, meat processing (meat must be processed for consumption), alcoholic beverages if

desired and gratuities.

Come and hunt free range bison in North Eastern Alberta, Canada. This is one of the last places on the planet where

you can hunt true free range bison in their natural habitat. The remote habitat these bison live in is extremely remote

and surrounded by wet swampy terrain that keeps them isolated for the majority of the year. We hunt these great beasts

during late January into early March weather permitting. This is the only time of year where these animals can

effectively be hunted due to the surrounding terrain being frozen.

This is an extreme hunt and not for the faint of heart. Hunters should be in good physical condition. You can expect

temperatures ranging from -35 to +10 degrees Celsius. Snow levels from 1 to 3 feet in depth. We will cover approx. 80-100

km per day by snowmobile in search of fresh tracks. Once fresh tracks are found we will then stalk the bison on

foot and move in for the shot.

Accommodations for this hunt will be wall tents heated with wood stoves. You will receive hearty home cooked meals

on this hunt. Morning and evening meals will take place in camp while lunch will sent with you to have in the field.

These bison are considered wood bison but as they are not a pure strain therefore do not require a CITES permit. This

hunt is fair chase and we offer two different packages.

Regular Package: -$7000.00 plus GST (5%) – Reduced to $6500.00 plus GST (based on 2 hunters)

This is a 7 day hunt which includes pickup in High Level, accommodation and meals during the hunt, guiding and

trophy care.

Not included are license costs, meat processing (meat must be processed for consumption), alcoholic beverages if

desired and gratuities.

Platinum Package: $11000.00 plus GST (5%) – Reduced to $9900.00 plus GST (based on 2 hunters)

This is a 9 day package which includes pickup in High Level, accommodation and meals during the hunt, wine and

beer with evening meals, guiding and trophy care, meat processing, licensing, quality bedding and the area will be

flown prior to the start of the hunt to locate the bison and start you in the right direction.

Not included in this package are gratuities.

Our waterfowl hunts take place in the heart of Alberta’s agriculture lands. This area in littered with fields and potholes

where thousands of birds stop on their fall migration to fill their stomach’s before continuing their journey South for

the winter. You can expect up to five shoots for a multitude of geese and ducks with a variety of both field and pothole

setups.

Accommodations on this hunt will be in a comfortable motel near the hunting area. Hunters can relax after a long cold

day in the blind with a hot shower and a warm meal.

Dates for this hunt run from the second week of September until the end of October.

3 Day Waterfowl Package: -$2600.00 plus GST (5%)

This is a 3 day hunt consisting of 5 shoots. The hunt includes pickup at the airport or if driving you will be provided

with directions of where you will be met, guiding and transportation during the hunt, accommodation and meals during

the hunt.

Not included are license costs, bird cleaning, alcoholic beverages if desired and gratuities.

6 Day Waterfowl Package: -$5000.00 plus GST (5%)

This is a 6 day hunt consisting of 11 shoots. The hunt includes pickup at the airport or if driving you will be provided

with directions of where you will be met, guiding and transportation during the hunt, accommodation and meals during

the hunt.

Not included are license costs, bird cleaning, alcoholic beverages if desired and gratuities.

Our cast ‘n’ blast adventure is unique and unlikely to be found anywhere else. Spend three days chasing trout in some

of the best rivers in the world for first class fishing. The scenery in the Rocky Mountains and surrounding foothills is

breathtaking so don’t forget your camera on this trip. The second half of the adventure will then move into our

waterfowl portion of the trip which takes place in the heart of Alberta’s agriculture lands. This area in littered with

followed by 3 days of quality waterfowl hunting. The trip includes pickup at the airport or if driving you will be

provided with directions of where you will be met, guiding and transportation during the trip, accommodation and

meals during the trip.

Not included are license costs, bird cleaning, alcoholic beverages if desired and gratuities. Equipment can be provided

if necessary for an additional charge.

6 Day Cast ‘n’ Blast Platinum Package: -$9000.00 plus GST (5%)

This is a 6 day adventure consisting of 3 full days of trout fishing in the Rocky Mountains and surrounding area

followed by 3 days of quality waterfowl hunting. For the fishing portion of the trip you will be lodged in quality 4 star

accommodations with premium dining. Wine and or beer are also included with your evening meal. For the waterfowl

portion of the trip you will be lodged in local motels with local dining in this remote area of Alberta. Wine and or beer

are also included with your evening meal. The trip includes pickup at the airport or if driving you will be provided with

directions of where you will be met, guiding and transportation during the trip, accommodation and meals during the

trip. Licenses, bird cleaning and equipment if required are also included at no extra charge.

The only costs not included with the platinum package are gratuities.
