We believe that to ensure a successful brown bear hunt you need a great quantity of quality trophy brown bear, along with a one on one experience in a low volume hunting area. We are proud of our nearly 100% success rates, and believe that it is because of our preserverance and determination as brown bear hunting guides that represents our success. Our location we brown bear hunt is in the largest state park in North America the Wood-Tichik park. We not only have quality brown bear hunts, but we also have moose hunts in this same area. Not to mention the coveted Dall Sheep hunts in the 14C drawing area.
If you choose to brown bear hunt in the spring you will be stationed in our lodge at Alegnagik Lake. Our spring brown bear hunts begin on April 1st and run through May 25th. We prefer these times because of the weather conditions, ranging from 20 to 30 degrees. You should prepare yourself for a lot of spring snow, trasportation is limited during this time to snowmobiles and snowshoes. During the fall our guided brown bear hunts are less demanding physically than in the spring. When choosing a brown bear hunt in the fall you will be stationed out of a tent camp in the Wood-Tikchik state park as well.
