We offer a second to none sportsman's trophy hunt in Oak City with several outrageously challenging buffalo hunts.

Our trophy bison hunts have bulls upwards of 2,200 pounds. Our buffalo hunting ranch is located in central Utah, we are cautious to only supply prime conditioned animals for quality hunts.

Lake Bonneville Bison Ranch welcomes you and your family to come take advantage of our guided buffalo hunts. Should some of your party want to hang back and relax for a while then our era decorated cabin is perfect for their comfort. We also offer authentic home made buffalo chili and home made bread after your long day buffalo hunting. Our bison hunts are in Oak City, Utah, the cabin is snuggled at the mouth of Oak City canyon, along the border of forest service land. Our bison hunts are usually in the middle of the Utahn winters and therefore we would like to warn any participants to bring the appropriate gear for this weather. On a positive note though our beautiful cabin can provide warmth from a fireplace, rest rooms, and kitchen facilities, along with old relics from the past.

We would like to invite all your family when you choose a buffalo hunt with us. We have found that many enjoy coming back and visiting with loved one's or sharing the moment of harvest with them. Buffalo is the name commonly used for these huge beasts, but the proper name for them is actually Bison. Montana is a top Buffalo (bison) hunting destination and Bearpaw Outfitters private buffalo ranch offers some of the best bison hunting in Montana. Best of all, these are not pen raised buffalo. These buffalo are not much different than the native wild bison that roamed this large ranch in years past.

Trophy buffalo bulls, older mature bulls, young bulls, cows, and yearling hunts are offered. Currently we have numerous buffalo of all sizes, and a couple absolutely huge bulls are available for this season. The meat is very tasty on younger buffalo so younger animals are what most meat hunters concentrate on. The meat is low in fat and cholesterol and considered one of the healthiest red meats you can eat. Many diabetic people, persons needing to lower their cholesterol intake, and people on low fat diets have found that buffalo meat can really improve their health.

Antelope hunting, Mule Deer hunting, Whitetail hunting, or Prairie dog shooting can easily be added to your buffalo hunt. You can't imagine the fun of prairie dog shooting, there are hundreds of them to shoot at, so don't forget to plan a prairie dog hunt.

Many record-class Buffalo (bison) have been taken from our large ranch. These huge animals usually weigh anywhere from 500 to nearly 1800 pounds depending on the age and sex of the animal that you shoot. Cows, young bulls, and yearlings provide the best eating meat. Old bulls have the largest horns but have tougher meat.

	$1950	Utah Mule Deer Hunting Specials - Private Ranch Utah is well known for trophy class mule deer and Bearpaw Outfitters offer guided or unguided mule deer hunts in many areas of central and northern Utah. Hunters wanting to hunt for some of the best bucks that Utah has to offer need to apply in the limited-entry draw for tags. Hunters who do not draw a Utah limited-entry deer tag can choose a Utah Northern Region hunt, a Utah CWMU private ranch mule deer hunt, or an Idaho Mule Deer Hunt. 	$2550	Idaho Elk and Mule Deer Combo Hunts Idaho offers some of the best elk hunting in the country and Bearpaw Outfitters have several excellent elk hunting options in Southeast Idaho. Elk and Mule Deer can be hunted together and if a person draws a moose tag they can also hunt moose on the same hunt. Best of all, Elk & Deer licenses are sold over the counter with no draw needed. Also in Idaho hunters can purchase a 2nd elk and 2nd deer tag if the quota doesn't sell out before Sept 1. These extra tags are available most years. Idaho even allows a deer tag to be used on a cougar if you see one. Bearpaw Outfitters do not charge an extra fee for hunting these extra animals. Fortunately predation is not a serious problem like in some other areas. There are no documented wolf packs and there are very few bear in this area so there is very little impact. We provide a bison hunt that is free range and in natural habitat. Our guided bison hunting season runs from February through May. Our buffalo hunts are usually from our snowmobiles. Each day is filled with excitement, the harvest process can sometimes be long and difficult but for the experienced trophy hunter it is worth while. We also offer a Timber wolf hunt that can be harvested during your free ranging guided buffalo hunt.
