Steeprock River Outfitters specializes in spring and fall Black Bear hunts with over 2,700 square miles of our own exclusive hunting territory between 3 different Game Hunting Areas. This allows us to have total access to hunt these areas without the presence and pressure of other Outfitters and non-resident Black Bear hunters, which makes your hunt a much higher and greater success!

Each of our Black Bear hunts have a high percentage of seeing several different types of Black Bears including, harvesting a big or color phased Bear. For the past several years we are proud to admit that we have an exceptional 92% success harvest rate, while 40% of our harvests have been color phased Bears. Each year we harvest several Boone & Crockett, and Pope & Young Bears, with weights ranging from 250lbs - 500lbs and measuring 5'5" - 7'6" nose to tail with skulls measuring 18"+.

If you are looking for Canadian hunts that includes some of the finest year around fishing then you have come to the right place. With nearby lakes and streams teaming with a variety of species you can fish for Northern Pike, Walleye, and Rainbow Trout.

Not only do we offer some fantastic Canada black bear hunts but we also specialize in amazing trophy class whitetail hunts. Our Canada hunts for whitetails won't disappoint with harvest potentials of upward of 200” deer.

Our guided Canada hunts for whitetail allow the hunter an opportunity to be selective in their harvest, because there is such an abundance of game. You will find our guided Canadian hunts comfortable and well established. Timber Wolf may also be harvested prior to your whitetail at no extra charge.

Fehr Game Outfitters is owned and operated by Jonathan and Tawnie Fehr along with their three children Dustyn, Danica and Huntr.

On our Spring Black Bear hunts, your odds of a 6 or 7-foot black bear are greater than 75%, taking your 2 bear limit is at a 200% success rate. You will be amazed at the abundance and size of our black bear population; it is very common to see at least 10-15 black bear a day, which is over 50 black bear during your 5-day hunt.

We have fantastic Moose hunts with our ideal moose habitat, we harvest antlered moose with an average rack of 50 inches, with many taken in the 60 inch range. Because of our close proximity to the Yukon border, the moose in this area have fantastic genetics – huge antler size as well as monstrous body size. All of our camps are set up on remote lakes; we access these lakes via floatplane, a well equipped 4×4 vehicle, or horseback. We can accommodate any style of hunting preference or hunting ability. The bigger the effort the bigger the trophy, and we can guarantee you that we will invest 110% into harvesting you that trophy bull moose. A combination of natural salt licks, logging blocks and small lakes provide a choice of hunting methods.

Hunting a Mountain Grizzly is easily the most exhilarating hunt; these animals are unpredictable and highly adaptable. This animal is one of the greatest trophies a person can achieve in their hunting life. There has been a 100% success rate on harvesting in the past 3 yrs, 5 hunters’: 5 bears, all taken on the first day of their hunt. Any level of hunting ability is offered. Our method is spot and stalk (NO BAIT). These hunts are either backpack, horseback or vehicle based and are offered at a 1:1 hunter/guide ratio, unless otherwise requested. We are committed to providing top quality trophy hunts with personal service to each client.

Fehr Game Outfitters owns exclusive guiding rights to a monstrous Mountain Goat population. This territory includes the headwaters of the Omineca River. Towering peaks soaring up to 7000 feet, glacier ice fields, and numerous alpine lakes provide some of the best habitat in the world for these magnificent animals. The average horn length is between 9 and 9.5 inches, trophies can be expected to go up to and sometimes a little over 10 inches with good heavy bases. There is an excellent chance to harvest a record book Billy.

Double Diamond Wilderness Trails is a small full time outfit that delivers a quality and successful hunting experience. Each and every client is guaranteed a great time and 150% effort from us. I, Jeremy Hatala, personally attend each and every hunt to ensure your hunting experience will be a dream come true. I have been a full time guide/outfitter for 16 years and have had the privilege of guiding in the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Alberta, Mexico, Tajikistan, & Siberia. These experiences have allowed me to develop a business that is second to none. While most outfitters focus on quantity, we at Double Diamond Wilderness Trails, focus on quality. Our goal is to have each and every hunter harvest the animal of their dreams.

Our Whitetail Rifle Hunts are 6 or 10 days and are held during the peak of the rut in November. Over the past ten years our whitetail deer have averaged in the 155" class with some exceptional deer reaching the 185" mark. Whether you prefer to spot & stalk, use calls, ground blinds, tree stands, or the comfort of the pickup truck, we leave it up to you to decide on how you would like to hunt.

We offer six or ten day Archery Mule Deer & Whitetail Deer Hunts in WMU 224 or 332. Each of these WMUs produce top end Mule & Whitetail Deer scoring between 140" B&C and 185" B&C on average. Although these deer are not real wide they are very heavy and extremely tall. Spot and stalk produce the best results for the Mule Deer while Treestems are used to hunt the Whitetails. Trucks & ATV's are used to get you to the various areas. These hunts are conducted from our home, and take place during September/October.

Join us along the famous Athabasca River for an unforgettable Black Bear Hunt. This country is bearadise and with a a high density of black bears each hunter is allowed to harvest two bears. We operate during the month of May and there is only 4 hunters in camp per week. Camp consists of wall tents & wood stoves with 2 hunters per tent, hot showers, and fabulous home cooking. This is a bait hunt using archery, muzzle loader, rifle, or cross bows and all stands are situated 15 yards from the bait site. If you do not shoot a bear we do not make money, we WILL put you on a trophy bear!!!!!

The Ultimate Predator Hunting Experience. Jeremy Hatala of "Double Diamond Wilderness Trails" and B.C. Outfitter Abe Dougan of "Big Boar Outfitters" have joined forces to offer the Ultimate Predator Hunt in 2007. Join us along the eastern slopes of the Majestic Rocky Mountains of Alberta. It is here, we will hunt Wolves and Coyotes over established baits from heated ground blinds. Hunters will be delivered to there remote heated ground blinds via skidoo or quad. Leading up to the bait site will be miles and miles of scented skidoo trails which allow the wolves easy traveling in the deep snow.
