Welcome to Delta Duck Hunts, Duck Hunting at the top of the Mississippi delta in Tunica, Mississippi, and in the heart of the Mississippi duck hunting Flyway. Delta Duck Hunts offers both guided duck hunting and unguided duck hunting on exclusive private duck hunting leases which are located adjacent to, or near, the Mississippi and Coldwater Rivers. The Mississippi Delta is well known for duck hunting, it's natural beauty and it's high concentration of waterfowl.

Delta Duck Hunts offer thousands of acres of duck hunting on private land with a variety of quality duck hunting and waterfowl habitat. While it depends on where the ducks are working, you could duck hunt any of the following duck hunting habitat: flooded rice, soybean, and corn fields, flooded timber or natural sloughs and brakes. Delta Duck Hunts offer duck hunting with easy access from a pit, brushed sled blinds, or standing timber. Our duck hunting guides are experienced duck hunters who are dedicated to making your duck hunt both personal and memorable. This area of the Mississippi delta is home to a variety of ducks ( Mallard, Pintail, Widgeon, Teal, Gadwall, Wood Ducks, and Northern Shoveler) as well as geese ( Canada, Snow, and Speckled-Belly).

Delta Duck Hunts meet at the famed Blue and White Restaurant, on Hwy 61 in Tunica, Mississippi each morning at 5:00 a.m. for an excellant breakfast before heading out to duck hunt. The Blue and White is well known for both it's hospitality and wonderful " home cooked" style meals. This is the usual place that we also will gather back at for lunch after the morning duck hunt.

Every guided duck hunt includes calling, decoys, and transportation to and from the blind. Guided duck hunts are limited to four (4) persons per duck hunting guide. Being located in the Mississippi duck hunting Flyway, we offer duck hunting a full 7 days per week throughout the entire season.

According to the Head Biologist of North Western Alberta, McLennan, Alberta is the premier waterfowl location in the Peace Country. McLennan, The Bird Capital of Canada, is located on Kimiwan Lake. Recorded counts in excess of 26,000 migratory birds per day use Kimiwan Lake during migratory season.

We are committed to managing our number of waterfowl hunters to ensure that hunters will have excellent duck and goose hunting throughout their stay. Our waterfowl hunters will be happy with a solid effort and a well organized, well run hunt. We are committed to a policy of 100% "fair chase" and stress principles and ethics above all else.

A Typical Hunt Day ...early to bed...early to rise Morning: Please expect to be up early, our days start at 4:00 a.m. providing an opportunity to see the northern lights while enjoying a light meal. The morning goose and duck hunt is exhilarating. Thousands of Canada, Speckled and Snow geese and numerous varieties of ducks including Mallards, Pintails and Widgeons, fill the skies from early September to late October providing some awesome hunting opportunities. There is no shortage of waterfowl and these birds rarely shy from the decoys and blinds we set up. Our blinds are extremely comfortable and allow for a great line of sight.

Afternoon: Good food will have us over eating and sharing some hunting stories when we return from the morning hunt. After brunch you can relax, stretch your legs with a nature walk, grab a nap, or visit until it is time to head out for the evening shoot.

Evening: If you haven't already reached your daily limit, the evenings are spent field hunting and pass shooting ducks and geese. With a very wide variety of waterfowl species in this area, you may have quite a mixed bag. After the evening hunt you will return to your accommodations for your evening meal and wind down from an exhausting day of hunting.

Birdtail Waterfowl Service offers a full range of guided duck hunting adventures. Our guided waterfowl hunt is set in the most famous prairie pothole region of western Canada. This region has an over abundance of game making it a true duck hunters paradise. The landscape is scattered with many potholes and lakes making for great duck hunting opportunities. Duck hunters will be guided to hunt fields for snows and blues as well as the puddle duck. Mallards pebble the sky’s along with the native and migrating Canada Geese. The guided duck hunts we offer in this pothole region cannot be beat. Our staff will give 100% during your visit providing you with the greatest duck hunting experience imaginable.

Paul Conchâtre has been in the tourism industry since the early 90's. His duck hunting career began at Stanley's Goose Camp. After many years guiding duck hunters alongside Daryl, Paul went out on his own creating the Birdtail Waterfowl Service. We are located in Manitoba’s most abundant pothole region. His guided duck hunts are beneath one of the largest flyways in North America.

Our first class staff includes 5 duck hunting guides with over 150 years of combined guiding experience. Our goals are to exceed your expectations and provide you with world class duck hunting guides. We offer you an experience you will never forget . The Birdtail Waterfowl Service provides 3 meals a day with snacks, fully guided duck hunts with all decoys provided and transportation to and from Winnipeg. Our loft style lodge offers a large viewing deck of the lake boasting with beautiful sunsets & panoramic views. When not duck hunting, we provide satellite television, limited internet access and can accommodate parties of up to 10.
