Members of S&J Outfitters have been hunting turkey for many years. Our staff consist of members of the Wild Turkey Federation that have committed their life to chasing the elusive long beard. Turkey hunting is becoming one of the most popular hunts to go on and the states we offer have some of the best action a hunter could dream of. Are you looking for a guided Missouri turkey hunting experience? Our spring Missouri turkey hunts offer the sportsmen an excellent opportunity with a good number of birds. Our Missouri turkey hunts offer our guest a 95% success rate. These Missouri turkey hunts are fully guided unless you request otherwise. Our Missouri turkey hunts have open early morning hours, but close after 1:00 pm which allows us to watch birds and see where they are roosting. Our Missouri turkey hunting yields birds from 18 to 27 lbs averaging a 8 to 12 inch beard. All our Missouri turkeys are of the Eastern decent.
Our Missouri turkey hunts offer 7,500 acres of glorious upland hardwoods, numerous creek bottoms, and nearly 1,600 of them being in corn or soybean fields. These Missouri turkey hunts are offered in ground blinds which are up and ready when you arrive. Although, if you already have a blind which you find comfortable and you would like to use please feel free to bring it along with you. Our main Missouri turkey hunting experience takes place on either funnel or bottlenecks that connect roosting areas and food supplies. Our Missouri turkey hunting area consists of 1200 acres of C.R.P. Land that offers a chance to harvest a trophy eastern turkey. These Missouri turkey hunts are fair chase there are no high fences here. Our Missouri turkey hunting experience is offered only on private exclusive property. Our guided Missouri turkey hunts have a limit of 8 hunters per day to ensure everyone has a successful low pressure experience.

Are you interested in killing a giant Tom? Or several giant Tom's? If you’re a single, or if you can get a good size group or corporate group together to hunt the following, we would love to get you lined up with some Thanksgiving Feasts! We have access to Rio, Merriam, and Eastern Turkey's in Kansas, 2 birds, over feeders or not, yes you read it correctly.... lol, typically we reserve these for Bow hunters; but whatever suits your fancy!
We have access to Merriam, & Easterns in Nebraska, 3 birds! We also have access to Easterns in Missouri, 2 birds, and Michigan, 1 bird. The only state I currently take non party, single hunters in is Michigan, which is excellent but can be a pain because you have to pre apply for the license by Feb. 1st; but all is not lost, 99.9% of the time you can still purchase a left over license all the way through the season and don't actually have to pre register. Michigan has giant Tom's and if it's a big, fat, long thick bearded strutter with super sized hooks on it, that's where you want to go as a single, unless you’re a single planning on harvesting several birds or across State lines.

Our Alabama eastern turkey hunts are either 2 or 3 days. We do not hunt large groups, there will be a maximum of 10 hunters in camp at one time.
