We offer a variety of hunting trips, including big game such as Northern California or Nevada elk hunts, Nevada mule deer hunts, Nevada desert bighorn sheep hunts and California or Nevada antelope hunts. You can choose to predator hunt on a Nevada mountain lion hunt or Nevada coyote hunt, or go upland game bird hunting on our Nevada wild chukar hunts or California turkey hunts. Private landowner tags in Nevada are also available; call us for details. We tailor our trips to meet your needs.

In addition to our hunting packages, we also offer drift boat fishing for northern California steelhead and trout, as well as striped bass. We fish the American, Feather and Yuba rivers and have access to private waters too. All of our equipment is top quality and includes a state-of-the-art Hyde drift boat.

Natives of White Pine County, Nevada, we’re experienced, diligent, ambitious and have hunted these mountains all our lives. We customize our services to meet your Nevada hunting needs and expectations, to ensure you enjoy your Nevada hunting experience.

Our Nevada mule deer are on the rebound. Tags are fairly difficult to draw, but chances to harvest a trophy buck are there. The average buck harvested is 25 to 27 inches. Many of the mule deer units we hunt are fairly rugged, with peaks rising above 10,000 feet. Arriving is good physical shape can really help your chances of making it to where the big ones live.

Nevada elk hunts are difficult to draw, but if you are lucky enough to draw it, then you will be in for the hunt of a lifetime. These Nevada bulls have a great gene pool, the chance of harvesting a quality trophy bull can be yours with our services. We have good knowledge of where these bulls call home and can give you the best opportunity to harvest one.

Nevada Antelope hunting is definitely fun! We know the habitat of these curious animals and how to get you in on one. The bucks you’ll see range from about 13 inches and up. Four-wheel drive vehicles will get us in proximity of the Antelope. Spot and stalk methods are used for Nevada hunting, however, stalking can be challenging in the sagebrush flats. This is a hunt you'll never forget.

Nevada Mountain lion hunts are by far the most unpredictable, challenging and sometimes frustrating. Where this hunt goes is entirely left to chance and chase of the lion. There are so many uncontrolled factors and conditions that contribute to this hunt, each is unique. Guided Nevada hunts for cougar can run from as little as 40 minutes to well over 4 miles. Definitely not a hunt for the faint of heart. The chase is a far greater thrill than the actual kill, but to harvest a cat is certainly worth every minute and every effort expended.

All guided Nevada hunts with Timberline Outfitters include transportation once you arrive in Ely, Nevada hunting guides, trophy care and packing out your animal. Lunches will be provided while we are out in the field. Hunters will be responsible for their own lodging and meals. Just ask us for a list of hotels, motels, and restaurants in Ely and we will assist you in making the accommodations of your choice. Hunt camp available for an additional fee.
