About Top Gun Guide Service
I offer excellent waterfowl and upland game with access to thousands of acres in the Devil's Lake area, North Central, Southcentral ,and Southeastern portion of the state.
I am fully insured and Licensed by North Dakota Game and Fish. (Lic.# GNF02603383) We also have the freelance permit which allows us to guide anywhere in the state.
Fall Hunts: Oct.3rd- Dec. 1st and Spring Snow Goose: April 5th-May 6th.
We hunt waterfowl in the mornings and afternoons. Fall field hunts for Snows/Blues, Canadas/Specklebellies, and Ducks are from layout blinds and are usually one guide per 2-6 clients. Puddle duck hunts for Ducks and Geese are in the large potholes and smaller lakes. Spring goose hunts are from blinds and location will vary due to the migration. We will arrange a variety of hunts to suit the interests of your group, and generally do not mix parties unless you have less than 6 hunters.
A note on Spring Hunting: Spring hunts are no limits, electronic callers, unplugged guns, extended tubes, and hunting over 2000 decoy spreads. In other words: A Blast!
North Dakota is legendary for the Best Goose and Duck Hunting in the Lower 48! We shoot Canada Geese and Specklebelly Geese plus lots of Snow Geese. We shoot mixed limits of ducks including Mallard, Pintail, Teal, Widgeon, Bluebill, Redhead, Canvasbacks, ...just about every duck that travels the Central and Mississippi Flyways! All birds shot will be processed and you can take them home. We don't believe in wasting game.
Similar for Fall and Spring Hunts-The weather can vary greatly from morning and evening and from day to day. Temperatures can go from 20 degrees in the early morning hours to 70 degrees or higher in the afternoon. It may even snow in September or May!
Included: The guides, decoys, blinds, electronic callers (Spring only), dogs if needed. Not Included: Transportation to North Dakota, rental car, guns, ammo, bird processing, alcohol, licenses, gratuities.

Black Duck Outfitters offer some of the finest North Dakota duck and goose hunting in the region.
We offer fall North Dakota waterfowl hunts beginning the first part of October through mid month and again the first part of November through mid month.
If you are looking for a North Dakota waterfowl hunting guide with experience here at Black Duck Outfitters we are licensed professionals with well over 50 years North Dakota waterfowl hunting experience. We have been guiding since 2007 with limited numbers for a personal guided North Dakota waterfowl hunting experience. We only offer our North Dakota waterfowl hunts during two weeks in October and November only.
Our North Dakota waterfowl hunts are conducted in the mornings then we move on to our upland birds in the afternoons. Our North Dakota duck and goose hunts include snows, blues, Canada’s, specklebellies, and ducks within our layout blinds. We offer one guide per every four to six North Dakota waterfowl hunting client. Our North Dakota duck hunts are conducted from large potholes and smaller lakes. We have the option to upland bird hunt should we limit out in the morning during our waterfowl hunts. We offer a various North Dakota waterfowl hunts and rarely mix hunting parties. We also only conduct our hunts in fair weather for safety reasons.
