Strut 'N' Rut Outfitters hunts properties in East Central Ohio which is truly a trophy hunter's paradise. Ohio produces a large number of Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young whitetail deer. You will be hunting in the the top trophy counties including Knox, Coshocton, Licking, Muskingum counties. These areas are under quality deer management and have antler restrictions. We do not allow the harvest of any buck under 125 inches.

In addition to the outstanding genetics, we supply all of our deer with mineral supplement for the entire two hundred day antler growing cycle and make extensive use of food plots. This grows big Ohio whitetails with very impressive racks.

We also offer top notch trophy longbeard hunts in some of the best turkey country in the state of Ohio.

You and your group will be assigned a farm, with tree stand already in place, on well used trails near bedding areas and food sources. Our Farms have many food sources for deer including alfalfa, corn, soybeans and an abundance of nut trees.

All of our stands are set up for both bow and gun hunters. We use ladder stands with padded arm rests and backrests. All have folding or swing-out shooting rail and are equipped with a safety harness and hoist rope. We can provide ground blinds for those of you who don't like heights.

You will not be hunting stands that someone else hunted in the last week as we do not hunt the same tract of land week after week like other outfitters. You will not be hunting with anyone you do not know. You and your group will be hunting at your own pace, making your hunt that much more enjoyable.

Welcome to Briarwood Sporting Club, where we offer the discriminating outdoorsman a relaxing, natural environment to get away from it all. Briarwood has been in business for over 30 years. We offer world-class whitetail hunting and trout fishing. Until this year, Briarwood has only been available to club members. Starting in 2009, we will be booking a limited number of trophy whitetail and turkey hunts to the public! Truly unique among sporting clubs across the nation, Briarwood offers not only the opportunity to harvest the “Buck of a Lifetime,” but a choice catch from among our many fish species. With the perfect habitat, Briarwood is the largest preserve of it's kind in the Midwest.

Several years have been invested compiling the industry’s best genetics to provide our clients with the largest whitetails in North America. Benefits to hunting at Briarwood include access to Mad River Sportsman’s Club, which offers a sporting clay course as well as hunting for pheasant, chukar, and Hungarian partridge. We also provide golf packages at Tree Links Golf Course. Taking place between September and December, your hunt will be a 3-day, fully guided one-on-one hunt for a trophy whitetail. All preserve hunts are booked for three days and will include 1-1 guide service, accommodations, meals, beverages and field preparation. Hunting is done from elevated blinds, ground blinds, or stalking. With over 80 acres of food plots, our clients will be presented with some amazing opportunities to take down a huge whitetail at close range. If you are unsuccessful, you pay nothing more than your deposit.

As most hunters know, the biggest factors contributing to harvesting a Trophy Whitetail Buck are: genetics, food, pressure, weather, hunting skills and some good luck. Our guides have several years experience taking whitetail hunters afield in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Texas, and Mexico. We know that the genetics, crops and lack of pressure on our trophy managed ground have been some of the fundamentals that provide us with the opportunity to harvest trophy bucks. We are far more concerned with providing quality hunts than massing a quantity of hunters, so availability is limited!

Feel free to bring your high-powered rifle for the hunt of a lifetime. No hunting permit required! The Farmstead is equipped with shower, kitchen, laundry room, and cable tv. When hunting we normally see an average of 15-30 deer per day.
