About Buckeye Whitetail Quest

August 15, 2011 marks the Grand Opening of the Buckeye Whitetail Quest hunting preserve. After more than 30 years of combined experience hunting whitetail deer, practicing whitetail deer management and farming whitetails to produce world class trophies, John and Joe Murrell are proud to offer some of the finest trophy whitetail deer hunting available in the Midwest.

Buckeye Whitetail Quest’s hunting preserve is located among the rolling hills of southern Ohio and encompasses approximately 150 acres of woodland, wood draws, wooded creek line and farm fields. The state of Ohio is renowned as being one of the country’s premier trophy whitetail hunting states. Buckeye Whitetail Quest upholds this outstanding tradition. Within the preserve, our hunters will have opportunity to pursue management, trophy, super trophy and world class whitetails that have either grown up within the enclosure or have been stocked from our rigorously managed breeding program. Whitetail deer scoring from 130” through 300”+ (SCI) will be available to harvest each hunting season.

During your time with Buckeye Whitetail Quest, you’ll feel right at home. Our 1,800 sq. ft. lodging facility has all of the amenities of home; including a complete kitchen, spacious living and sleeping quarters, satellite TV and a high speed internet connection. We’ve made every effort to ensure that you are completely comfortable during your entire stay with us. Between morning and afternoon hunts, hunters can return to the lodge to get a meal and relax or just hang out at our base camp cabin.

Hunting parties of three or more hunters will have the lodge and the entire preserve to themselves. Solo or two man hunting groups may be booked along with another hunting party.
