About Hunters Hole
Hunters Hole a Nebraska Hunting Outfitters facility situated in the small rural village of Lewiston, Nebraska which is located about 15 miles east of Beatrice, and is about an hour from Lincoln and 2 hours from Omaha airports. Lewiston lies in the midst of some of the best Nebraska Pheasant Hunting in southeastern Nebraska. Pheasant populations were down 40-50% in 2007. In May 2008 120 hens were stocked on Hunters Hole lands in an attempt to augment pheasant numbers in Autumn 2008. An additional 4-6 week old roosters will be stocked in mid July to sustain the Hunters Hole "wild bird" hunting philosophy.
Lodging when Nebraska Hunting is currently in a three bedroom, two bath, 1900 sq ft recently remodeled house on a half acre and includes a two car garage and fenced courtyard and yard to house and contain Hunting Dogs. A maximum of 4 hunters can be provided lodging within the house. Commencing in Autumn 2008 additonal lodging for 2-4 will be available. Most of the 2,000 acres of Nebraska Hunting land is within a 3-mile radius of this Nebraska Hunting Outfitters enterprise. Some land is walking distance from the site.
Standard hunt packages range from 5 night-4 day to 3 night-2 day hunts with meals and lodging provided. Custom hunts are available at client's request. South Dakota Pheasant Hunting Packages: Pheasant hunts that are all inclusive are just that (no additional costs)! We furnish South Dakota homegrown beef along with other meats and vegetables with all your meals. Other included accommodations are lakeside lodging, beverages and liquors, shells, transportation, guides, dogs (or you may bring your own) and clay pigeons for sporting clays. We will customize pheasant hunting or walleye fishing trips or a combination of both in order to fit your needs.
Single day hunts include: guides, hunting dogs, transportation to and from the field, one meal and cleaning and packaging of the birds. Does not include lodging (which is available), shells, and South Dakota hunting license.
