About Kodiak Sportsman's Lodge

We would like to invite you to The Kodiak Sportsman’s Lodge on Kodiak Island. Located in Old Harbor, Alaska our lodge is home to absolutely the best Salmon fishing anywhere. Quite literally the finest Halibut, Ling Cod, and Salmon fishing can be found here. Sitkalidak Island is rated the number one fishery in these Alaskan protected waters. Abundant with candlefish, herring, and many other bait fish means that trophy Salmon fishing is emanate.

We offer a Salmon fishing experience like no other. There is over a 30 mile stretch of protected water we Salmon fish. These waters are home to only 6 sport fishing vessels and currently we own 4 of them. These are not the over fished areas that most might be used to fishing, but a quite, calm and very productive experience. Salmon fishing is within 15 to 30 minutes from our dock. We not only have the calm tranquility of the water, but there is also wildflower viewing during your Salmon fishing.

Our Salmon fishing lodge can accommodate up to 16 guests. Our lodge is as close to all inclusive as it gets you will be provided the following: meals, snacks, beverages, wine or beer, rain gear, lodging, guide, boat, tackle, processing of your catch, and also included will be your round trip ticket from Kodiak to Old Harbor. We have thought of everything to make this a worry free Salmon fishing adventure.

No where in Alaska will you have the kinds of limits we have per person per day they are as follows: 2 King Salmon, 2 Ling Cod, 5 Silver Salmon, 2 Yellow Eye, and 10 Black Sea Bass. Every year there is also a fun sport fishing activity you may like to participate in or even just observe it's called the Kodiak King Derby. We have been the home for the last 3 years as the first place winners of the Derby, or clients have walked away with over 26,000 dollars! About Thorne Bay Lodge

Thorne Bay Lodge is Located on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska. We offer Guided Salmon fishing trips and halibut on the calm waters of the inside passage. We Salmon fish the protected waters on the east side of Prince of Wales Island which are sheltered from the oceans swells which come from the west. We also offer Self-Guided Salmon fishing trips on the rivers of the island and Self-Guided hunting in the vast forests of the island. Being centrally located on Prince of Wales Island gives you access to 2,600 square miles of public land. A large portion of which is within Tongass National Forest. With over 990 miles of coastline and over 1,500 miles of road maintained by the Forest Service you have access to nearly the entire island to hunt and salmon fish. Prince of Wales Island is the third largest island in the US territory. Flights go through Seattle, Washington and arrive in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Thorne Bay Lodge is centrally located on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska. Prince of Wales offers endless opportunities for your salmon fishing adventure. There are more lakes and streams for salmon fishing than one man can ever attempt to salmon fish in a lifetime. The road system gives you access to many of these pristine streams. All of the streams are well suited for wading. Unlike most of Alaska there are no Brown Bears on the island, only Black Bears. Prince of Wales Island gets Steelhead runs and 4 of the 5 Pacific Salmon runs in the river systems of the island.

We also offer Salmon fishing charters on the calm waters of the inside passage on the east side of Prince of Wales Island. Salmon Fishing charters on our 28 foot cruiser is comfortable and the cabin is large enough for everyone to seek shelter when it rains. We use twin motors for added security when we are out on the water. The shallow depths at which the fish feed make for a uniquely pleasant fishing experience. We fish water from 120 to 300 feet. Saltwater salmon fishing is a lot of fun and the variety of fish available is incredible. Your next strike may be a giant king salmon, 20 pound Ling Cod or a 150 pound Halibut.

Nushagak River Adventures is one of the few real wood framed salmon fishing lodges on the lower Nushagak River. There are a number of tent camps to choose from but only our salmon fishing lodges gives you the comfort of a real lodge, real beds, gourmet meals and world class salmon fishing guides.

Folks who stand elbow to elbow in more accessible waters are lucky to land just one king a day. Our guided salmon fisherman average over a dozen landed King Salmon per person per day. Our lodge has comfortable heated rooms in the main bunkhouse. Cedar walls, real beds and down pillows in first class style! We also have hot showers and satellite internet. Bedrooms in the lodge can accommodate 2 to 4 anglers. Our excellent dinners may include halibut, salmon, pork chops, steaks or chicken. You will eat great every day. We serve a hot breakfast in the morning. Lunch can be back at the lodge or take a bag lunch and never leave the river.

Some of the best salmon fishing is right in front of the lodge. Fish all day with your salmon fishing guides then battle the mighty king salmon after dinner back at the lodge.
