About Honker Heaven Outfitters
We strive to target the species you want to hunt. Great Canadians, Lessers, Speckle Bellies, Snow and Ross Geese are all abundant in the morning waterfowl hunt. Be sure to bring duck loads as well as there is usually a lot of quack action in the morning.
Afternoon’s hunt is focused on ducks over water or in the fields. There is nothing quite like spending your afternoon sitting in a blind over a marsh and listening to the relaxing sounds of quack-boom-splash. Sandhill Cranes are also abundant in the area and can be targeted for some exciting waterfowl hunting.
Your spotters and guides will use their judgment to put you on, what they feel, is the best opportunity for the next morning, but the final decision is yours.
Hunting Dog & DecoysGuides will do set up of decoys but if everyone pitches in, some additional sleep can be had. Dark Goose hunts are made successful with the use of 8+ dozen full body Big Foot Decoys. Snow Goose hunts utilize a set made up of dozens of shells in conjunction with silhouettes and Texas rags if needed. Individual Avery Finisher blinds (layout blinds) woven with natural cover are strategically placed among the set. A portable blind may also be used to accommodate the caller and anyone who is not comfortable lying in a blind.
Feel free to bring your own calls and use them… the more proficient callers the better! Your dogs are also more than welcome to join the hunt.
Honker Heaven Outfitters will be offering filming of your guided hunts to share with family and friends. Footage will be professionally edited and you and your hunting party will be starring in your own outdoor adventure! Must be booked in advance of your arrival. Please contact us for pricing and details.

About Ace Waterfowl
Our Waterfowl hunts run from the last week of September through November 1st. Our Fall hunts coincide with the stopover in our areas of the Hundreds of thousands of ducks and geese in the North American Central and Mississippi flyways adding to our already high resident bird population. New flights arrive almost daily dependent on weather, and the birds don't leave until inclement weather and freeze-up force them south at the beginning to mid-November.
These birds have not seen a decoy in almost 6 months and we have great success in putting the birds in your face with wings cupped and feet down by decoying with small to medium size spreads.
We run from 5-35 dozen shells, super-mags, full body, and Real Geese Pro Series decoys for Canada's. Our duck rigs consist of 4-7 dozen decoys with 2-3 powered spinning wing decoys mixed throughout and a vortex with wind spinners, as well we have over 800 snow goose Sillosock, North wind, life-size Shells, Real Geese Silhouettes, and flyer decoys as well e-callers that make for an ultra-realistic spread and some tremendous shoots.
The majority of our hunts are spent over decoys in grain fields, but we also have access into some great private and public lakes and marshes which can produce awesome multi-species duck shoots. Field Hunts are out of comfortable layout blinds, water hunts are run out of portable or permanent blinds, Jon boats with blinds or good old fashioned wader hunts. Let us tailor a package to meet your needs.
It is not uncommon to see 2-3,000 cranes in a day here and the season opens early September. We offer Crane only hunts at $400.00 Canadian daily up to the third week of September. During the 3rd week of September, we offer a combination 3 day Crane and Light Goose hunt that allows you to shoot both species the week before the duck and Canada goose seasons open. The Combo hunts are the same structure and pricing as the Combo duck goose hunts and some hunters like to stay on for an extra few days to take advantage of the season opener on ducks and geese.

About Birdtail Waterfowl Service
Hunt with Birdtail Waterfowl Service and enjoy a true waterfowl hunt in the famous prairie pothole region of western Canada. This pothole region is a bird hunters paradise. The landscape is scattered with many potholes and lakes. Hunters will hunt fields for snows and blues that fill the sky as well as puddle ducks that gorge themselves in barley, wheat and pea fields. Mallards dive bomb potholes, throw in resident and migrating Canada Geese and you have a waterfowlers dream. Our staff will give you and your party 100% during your prairie pothole experience. Don’t forget this is where it all begins.
Hi, my name is Paul Conchâtre. I have been in the tourism industry since the early 90's. My Waterfowl career began under the wings of Daryl Stanley. Daryl has been in the Outfitting business since retiring from the National Hockey League in 1990. Stanley's Goose Camp is located in central Manitoba, North America's premiere Canada Goose flyway. During the winter of 2000 we developed Birdtail Waterfowl Service. Our goal was to provide our current guests at Stanley's Goose Camp an option to hunt our Canadian Prairie pothole region. With our high expectations and work ethic, this business has grown dramatically. Birdtail Waterfowl Service is now owned and operated by my wife Catherine and myself.
Located in the Prairie Pothole region of Manitoba, Birdtail Waterfowl Service is a waterfowlers paradise. The landscape is scattered with small lakes, sloughs and potholes. Puddle ducks gorge themselves in barley, wheat and pea fields while Mallards dive bomb potholes. Snows and Blue Geese fill the morning skies as well as abundant resident and migrating Canada Geese.
Our work ethic is world class. Whether clucking in a flock of geese, high bailin' a weary old green head, or scouting a field for tomorrow's hunt you will be amazed with the drive to produce the most memorable hunts. Our staff will give you and your party 100% from the moment you arrive...everything is looked after. The only thing we can't control is Mother Nature, but rest assured we are working on that!

Located one hour west of Saskatoon, in the heart of the Saskatchewan flyway, you will experience some of the most exciting Saskatchewan Snow Goose hunting of your life. This is one of the best locations for Snow Geese, White Fronted Geese (Speckle Bellied), Canada Geese, as well as many species of ducks and upland birds. This area is one of their first stops along their long journey south, which makes these birds very inexperienced to decoying, and allows for extremely successful hunts. There is an abundance of cropland and large bodies of water in our hunting area that holds and constantly draws huge numbers of birds throughout the entire fall hunting season.
