About Northern Pride Outfitters
We pride ourselves in repeat hunters each year. Our hunters have quickly become our close friends.
We hunt on 75,000 acres of bush and heavy forestland and 15,000 acres of privately owned land, in the heart of some of the best whitetail deer hunting you will find.
Northern Pride Outfitters have been outfitting for over 20 years. We live on the land we hunt, and run a large cattle ranch. Living here allows us to scout the area with ease. We have a winter feeding program that helps keep the deer in the area, as well as insuring the deer maintain good health even during the long, cold winter months. During the rifle season, we mainly hunt over baits. We spend some time hunting the fields, also. We have many different types of stands, including: enclosed huts, climbers, loungers, ladder stands and lock-ons. You will spend the whole day in your stand, so be prepared for the cold. We do offer propane heaters for those extremely cold days.
Our camp is located 13 miles west of Loon Lake, Saskatchewan. It is located on Murphy Lake, which is about ½ hour east of the Alberta border in North Western Saskatchewan. Edmonton is 4 hours from camp and Saskatoon is 3 ½ hours. We encourage our hunters to fly into Edmonton though, as you can go through customs there. Transportation to our camp is not included in the price. We can arrange for single and small groups of hunters to meet up, and car pool to our camp.

High fence hunting on Canada’s largest, oldest, most established managed hunting ranch in Saskatchewan. Over 5000 acres on 3 properties. These 4-Day Saskatchewan High Fence trophy elk and deer hunting trips begin as early as September 1 and our scheduled hunts go through as late as the end of November. Traditionally 20-30% of hunters are archery hunters. Crossbows are also allowed. Guns laws in Canada do NOT allow hand gun hunting. The elk and deer hunting properties are some of Canada’s largest private ranches. The areas are heavily wooded with challenging terrain, but not too physically demanding. This year there are only 2 bulls on the ranch under 360?, 20 bulls are over 400?, and one bull is 500?+!
This Saskatchewan Canada black bear hunting trip is a great one. It is hassle free and the Outfitter is focused on your black bear hunting success. They average 95% bear hunting success rate and 100% shooting opportunity over bait. Black bear hunting is from tree stands over bait. You have a reasonable chance at bears with 19-21? skulls and a wide range of color phase bears including blonde, black, brown, and cinnamon. They usually run 20-30 bait locations out several weeks before the seasons begin, and will be sure to place you over a bait that has been active.
