I have been a professional hunter, guide and outfitter since 1990, and have 34 years waterfowl hunting experience. I still Love Waterfowl Hunting particularly goose hunting more than anything, even the, "getting the truck stuck", days. We are the Outfitters Outfitter, when it comes to waterfowl hunting in Missouri and the other states we operate in, many months of the year. We are lucky enough to have been in business and waterfowling longer than most anyone in the country, that still operates today, there are a select few and that is because our hunts and destinations are considered at the pinnacle of World Class destinations in the States. All of our pictures or video that you may see or find on youtube, on television, in magazines will have all been shot in the United States and that is simply because we are too busy successfully hunting the Mid West, to be traveling anywhere across the border. Most all others video's are being shot in Canada; along with many outfitters using pictures from Canada in their advertisements-you will not find that here, we are 100% American Made. In this advertisement, we are specifically talking about our first love and what Ducks Unlimited Magazine named us as the Mid West Experts in, in Dec. 2010; and that is Mid Continent Snow Goose Hunting. We were humbled with this interview; but then again ecstatic to be recognized so highly. And again, last April 2011, we were interviewed for an article in Outdoor Life, regarding the population explosion of snow geese and what we have done to "help control it", and what our suggestions would be to the Federal Fish & Wildlife Division to help get these out of control birds, in control. Again, I was very humbled and honored to be chosen among so many in a piece of Americana, that is so iconic, only you and other outdoorsman could understand the meaning, very humbled in deed. We are represented by the biggest and best in the industry and are considered by many as the place to go when it comes to light goose hunting. With all of this recognition, we remain very manageable, keeping our operation at the same size it has been for the last 12 seasons, unlike, soo many others around the internet. This however means booking as early as possible, a must. It is this same size that works best, this is what has made us, we choose quality over quantity of guests. Our spring snow goose hunts take place in Missouri, the highest snow goose harvest area/state in the world, as revealed in Wildfowl Magazine. We have without question, helped give Mound City & Missouri this reputation, with above average harvest rates and unheard of, high success in what is considered the smartest of all waterfowl. We have literally millions of snows and other fowl migrating through our back yard each fall and spring. Last year was off the charts with high harvests, and per day average harvests by our guests. At the risk of being redundant, this year is already predicted to be as good as last; because of another record setting hatch of young snows already being rumored.

We start our hunts in mid February and move with the geese until the end of March, through the state of Missouri. We offer excellent lodging, meals and hunting packages, with recreational facility's, cleaning station, cash bar, grocery, shells, and license sales. We also offer daily hunts, excluding all the above. Heck, if you loose your shotgun in air transportation, we even have a full stock of 12 ga. shotguns.

I offer spring snow goose guided hunts and fall waterfowl hunts in Missouri, Saskatchewan, Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota. With years of experience offering guided ducks hunts and goose hunts across Canada and the Midwest I have recently hand picked several prime areas in those regions to extend the hunting seasons for our hunters. On September 15th we start in Saskatchewan and hunt there until November 1st. Then I move south when the ducks and geese migrate across the border into North Dakota and Minnesota. The season runs from late October until late December. The fall season ends in N.W. Missouri, Nebraska, or Kansas depending on where the birds end up. That season runs from late October through January.

In the spring I start up in Mound City, Missouri near the Squaw Creek NWR and follow the migration north through South Dakota, North Dakota & Saskatchewan. All of my Guided Spring Snow Goose Hunts are first class. I hunt over thousands of decoys and use the top of the line layout blinds when pits are not an option. Our spring snow goose hunts take place in Southern Illinois. We are surrounded by five refuges and two major rivers providing some of the best spring snow goose hunting action. Vastly populated refuges result in quality hunts. With each refuge holding large numbers of the snow goose, it gives us more opportunities to shoot when the snow goose goes out to feed. We have selected private fields where the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers meet and centering these government refuges. We hunt the snow goose in dry wheat and corn fields depending on crop rotation. I can’t forget our sweet honey hole a flooded corn field, which we put out 400 floaters and 2000 field decoys. We have put in large 27 feet dry in ground pits for comfort and enjoyment. When choosing our equipment we use our own decoys and custom wireless sound systems. Each field setup will be 1500-2000 snow goose decoys. We use snow goose kites and other tricks to entice the snow goose. If you love waterfowl hunting you will love snow goose hunting. Spring snow goose hunting, WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!

We usually meet our hunters at 5:30 am. From there you will follow your hunting guide to your field for the day. You will arrive to a pre-set spread of 1,500 – 2,500 our own line of custom decoys. You will be hunting out of a 27 foot custom pit blind with heaters and cooking facilities. You are welcome to bring your own food to cook throughout the day as this is a Full Days Hunt! In fact with the 5 refuges located with in 20 miles of our fields, we have found the best hunting to be had between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. You are more then welcome to bring your trained retrievers and groups of 6 – 8 hunters will be assured of their own field during the hunt. Groups of 4 hunters or less may be placed with a smaller group and will be guaranteed that there will be no more than 6 hunters in the field total. We also run several spreads so you will have the option of hunting a new field each day if you choose. This is YOUR HUNT- We are here to make sure you have a most enjoyable spring snow goose hunting adventure!

With all of our Illinois Spring Snow Goose Daily Packages we have made arrangements for lodging and meals but they are not included in your daily rates. We have an on-site 5 bedroom hunting lodge available for our hunters at $35.00 per night. Although this is not a 5 Star Lodge, it is warm and clean and has room for all of our hunters with running water, along with bathroom and kitchen facilities. There are also traditional motels located with in 30 miles from the field also available
