We have been in operation for the past 35 years we are located on the Finlay River. We offer some of the most phenomenal Stone Sheep hunts over 2500 square acres of British Colombia. No matter what weapon you prefer whether you choose rifle, muzzle loader, or you are more capable as an archer we have the Stone Sheep hunt for you. We can customize your Stone Sheep hunt with other combinations from Mountain Caribou, Canadian Moose, Black Bear, or even Wolf. However if you are just after a single animal hunt we are more than capable.

Our Stone Sheep hunting season starts in August. There is also an opportunity to purchase combination hunts that consist of moose, mountain goat, mountain caribou, black bear, wolf, and hunts for grizzly by special arrangement.

We specialize in small groups of four to five hunters. Stone Sheep hunting can be treacherous and physically demanding so Ron remains as one of the guides for most Stone Sheep hunts. Ron also employs two other guides for personal attention and customization of your Stone Sheep hunt or many others. Ron has been Stone Sheep hunting and outfitting in this area for nearing 40 years. We are a close nit family organization that offers the hunter a friendly, hospitable environment with our goal as a successful harvest for an outcome.

British Colombia is nationally known for pristine hunting habitat for a variety of animals making it a first choice for Stone Sheep hunting. The only access to our Stone Sheep hunts and others is by float plane to our remote hunting areas in BC. We include all charter flights in our rates. Our accommodations include a personal cabin with wood burning stoves. You will be responsible for your gear, equipment, and sleeping bag.

We own six different hunting camps although we never utilize more than one or two at a time. We rotate between these camps from hunt to hunt maintaining low pressure hunting in any one area. We also utilize boat hunts or back pack style for Stone Sheep hunts. You will need to be prepared for plenty of hiking in extremely mountainous terrain. Welcome to Canadian Mountain View Paradise Outfitters or MVP. We have been in the Guiding business for over twenty years and have a proficient hunting operation with an abundance of trophy animals.

We hunt Stone Sheep, Bighorn Sheep, Free Ranging Bison, Canadian Moose, Elk, Mountain Caribou, Shiras Moose, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Mountain Goat, Cougar, Lynx, Bobcat and Wolf. You can hunt fourteen big game species during the prime seasons with your choice of rifle, bow or muzzleloader.

Stone Sheep hunts start in August, this is one of the most exhilarating hunts that you will ever experience in the most prestige wilderness of British Columbia.

Our area has a yearly quota of Sheep tags. Most of the sheep are quite dark in colour, the average sheep ranges from 35-39 inches with 40”+ rams having been taken in the past.

This area has produced the 2nd, 4th and 15th biggest Stone Sheep taken in the past, they scored 190 and 187 4/8ths and 183 5/8ths Boone & Crocket.

Some of the sheep country can be accessed with horses, but you will need to do some hiking and backpacking. We have little-to-no resident hunting pressure in our Sheep hunting areas and have very good sheep guides to ensure your trip is a successful one.
