Let's go fishing on one of our sportfishing charter boats. Bring the family or host your company convention with the Eastern Shores premier fishing Charter. Our philosophy on fishing is to do whatever it takes to find fish and never leave them biting. Situated in the heart of world famous fishing, we have a year round migration of some of the biggest and most sought after game fish in the world.

Depending on the time of year, you will catch a variety of fish to include Blue and "Rock" to mention a few. Our fishing charters have been fishing on the Choptank River, and Chesapeake Bay their whole life. Whatever conditions the day has to offer, they can use their experience to find the fish for you.

No matter if you're a first timer or a seasoned fisherman, you're going to have a great fishing charter with Choptank Outfitters. For these boats, you can go by yourself and join a shared charter or charter the boat privately to yourself for a group up to 6 people. We also have sportfishing charter boats available for more than 6 people, if you have a larger group. It's a great trip no matter how you do it.

Come and Enjoy the Lower Eastern Shores beautiful surroundings ands abundant waterfowl. The hundreds of square miles of unspoiled wetlands provide for some of the best Duck and Goose hunting in the country. Snow, Brant, and Canadian geese, and a wide variety of ducks are a plenty around Chincoteague and Assateague Islands.

Bay Fishing with Capt. Wayne Lewis on the 32 foot Wonderfull 1. Two four hour trips daily 8 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM. Maximum of six people, Bring your own refreshments and remember to bring the kids.

Capt Wayne Lewis is a native of Chincoteague Island and holds a United States Coast Guard Masters Vessel License. Spending his life fishing and hunting the waters around Chincoteague, his knowledge of the area assures his customers of a memorable trip. His boat, the Wonderfull 1, is a spacious 32 foot vessel with a canopy and head. For smaller parties and flats fishing, he operates a 19 foot Carolina Skiff.

Chincoteague Island is also known for it's waterfowl that migrate through here every year. Located just hours from Washington and Philadelphia, it offers the best in hunting and exploring the marshes that surround the island. Well protected from the ocean by Assateague Island (Chincoteague Island national refuge), Chincoteague Island offers great hunting and fishing in a relaxed environment.

Welcome aboard the Dawn II, a 46' fiberglass twin diesel charter boat, complete with air conditioning, lots of room and modern toilet facilities. Captain Larry Simns, a lifetime waterman of Rock Hall knows the area and the bay. He invites you to enjoy a day on the Chesapeake Bay fishing for striped bass, better known as rockfish. Trophy season runs from Spring to early Summer. Fall season starts in late Summer and runs until late Fall. Dates to be announced yearly. There are also many other species available throughout the year.

State of the art equipment such as Fish Finder, Loran, Radar and water temperature gauges are on board as well as modern fishing tackle, spinning rods, trolling rods, fishing lures, weights and hooks. Bait is included. Charter vessel Dawn II will carry a party of six, including children. Larger parties can be accommodated. Safety equipment aboard the boat is fully approved and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard. While fishing aboard the Dawn II, no individual license is needed. When you call, be sure to ask about season limits, size limits and creel limits on spot, perch, catfish, bluefish and croakers. Other species may also be available, depending on the time of year.
