We are also very proud to announce that we have been able to acquire an area in partnership in Tanzania’s well known Selous reserve the area is known as R2 and is located on the banks of the mighty Ruaha river and covers an area of 500 square miles or 320 000 acres of absolute untouched African Wilderness, here hunters can enjoy a large variety of huntable free roaming African species, These include African Lion, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Leopard, East African Impala, Sable, Lichtenstein Hartebeest and many many more, the abundance of free roaming game and overall hunting experience makes this area the ultimate big/Dangerous game hunting Experience.
Here are some helpful facts behind Tanzania. The Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife area in Africa with over 21 000 square miles and perhaps more than 50 000 elephant. The hunting season starts on the 1st of July and ends at the end of December. This is a malaria area. Yellow fever shots are required prior to your departure from home by most countries.
Entry VISAS are required and can be obtained upon arrival in Dar Es Salaam. However it is recommended to get one before hand. West of the Serengeti one reaches the shores of Lake Victoria, the largest Lake on the Continent and one of the primary headwater reservoirs of the Nile.
In the Northeast of Tanzania is Mount Kilimanjaro (19340 feet) the highest point in Africa. Northeast from the Selous is Dar Es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania. The climate in Tanzania varies quite a bit, considering that its environment includes both the highest and the lowest points on the continent.
Come and join Kwalata Wilderness for a truly memorable Tanzania Hunting Safaris.
