Andy Myers Lodge is well known as rustic, meticulously maintained Walleye fishing lodges and cottages, beautiful setting and excellent walleye fishing. The walleye fishing camps are hidden away in a quaint location on a bay named after us on beautiful Eagle Lake, just outside Vermilion Bay, Ontario Canada.

Eagle Lake, in Ontario Canada, is famous for its walleye fishing and scenic beauty, which features 63,428 acres of water and more than 490 islands with many bays, channels, weed beds and drop-offs to explore during your walleye fishing trips & adventures. The average depth, of Eagle Lake, is 22 feet with a maximum depth of 110 feet. You are never far from a walleye fishing hot spot on Eagle Lake.

Besides being committed to making your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, there is a strong emphasis on providing you with walleye fishing information. Owner, Steve Herbeck, has developed a reputation as one of North America's top walleye fishing guides and fishing instructors.

Walleye fishing on Eagle Lake is unique in that it produces trophy walleye fishing, of all five major species, throughout the season and is one of the most exciting walleye fishing lakes. Eagle Lake has world record muskie fishing (musky), tasty Ontario walleye fishing, feisty smallmouth bass fishing, tackle busting northern pike fishing, and an excellent Ontario fishing for both lake trout and whitefish. If that wasn't enough to keep you busy, we have boats on other area walleye fishing lakes such as Corner, Clearwater, Buzzard, McGregor, Bottle Bay, Violet, Stewart, Canyon, and the entire Indian Chain of Ontario fishing lakes.

Your week will begin with an orientation seminar complete with marked walleye fishing maps, demonstrations on productive patterns and techniques to help get you started on your walleye fishing trips. All guests and staff are introduced so everyone feels welcome and at home. This is followed up with a Wednesday night gathering to discuss any new or changing patterns and techniques that have developed during your stay.

There is always good, old-fashioned walleye fishing talk going on every evening in the lodge and if you need more help, just ask and you'll get it. Andy Myers is a stopping place for many of North America's top walleye fishing pros (see our "Special Weeks" page of our website) and they are always willing to share some of their secrets and tips.

For the adventurous fishermen we also have several portage lakes with boats and motors. Lake Trout, Walleye and Northern Pike are our most sought after species but we also have Brook Trout and Rainbow Trout available.
