If you want a whitetail hunting experience that only involves mature whitetail bucks you have come to the right place. These animals are by far some of the smartest big game animals in North America. We prefer when whitetail hunting to stand watch for these animals, because it provides you with an opportunity at a stationary target with a sturdy rest. We have several different stand types such as our ladder stands, climber and the good old fashioned ground blinds.

Our set up is usually on game trails that have sufficient activity such as scrapes and rubs. We never set up close to field edges and give ourselves away. If you are unfamiliar with this kind of hunting we want you to be prepared to sit most of the day and wear the appropriate outdoor gear. The temperature is a whopping 0 degrees most of the time but sometimes it has been colder not to mention that snow is usually persistent. Your whitetail hunting guide will drop you off in the mornings and retrieve you in the evenings. You will see plenty of action since our hunt is directly in the rut so movement can be seen almost all day. These deer are extremely flighty and usually only pursue doe in the thickest travel paths.

Whitetail hunting in our area during the rut, rattling and calling techniques work fantastic. So we urge you to bring your gear. Calling throughout the entire day will be sure to land you that big buck as long as you use it sparely.

We want you to be prepared during this whitetail hunt for shots up to 300 yards. When sighting your rifle in make sure it is for 200 yards, but not a bad idea to know where it hits at 300. We want you to prepare yourself should that buck of a lifetime walk out at a longer distance. However most of our whitetail hunts success ranges from the 100 to 200 yards.

The .270 is a great caliber or larger when whitetail deer hunting they are thin skinned so a light weight bullet expands faster for a cleaner kill.

Each tower stand location is within 200 yards from the primary game crossing. We want you to have as much time as possible to make sure you get your shot.

Besides our tower blinds we have pop up blinds that hide well with the different types of camo patters available. These blinds make whitetail hunting comfortable and give you many different options in all types of weather conditions. This type of blind allows for different set ups depending on the whitetail hunter they are great for those tight spots in slough bottoms. We like to give you different hunting options especially if there is some you are more familiar with and most comfortable. You can let us make the decision of which methods would be best to use under the weather conditions. We want you to have the most successful opportunity of harvesting that trophy whitetail. In the last 3 years whitetail hunters have taken an average of 150 BC class bucks.

Our trail-cams are positioned and we know where some big old bucks will be working scrape-lines. Saskatchewan Black Bear Hunting is exciting! Think about this… It is almost impossible to walk 10 yards in the forest without snapping a twig or rustling some leaves. Black bears can move through the thickest brush without making a noise! They are like smoke! These 'ghosts of the darkness' seem to appear out of nowhere. Occasionally black bears are not quiet. As a matter of fact they sometimes make lots of noise as they approach. There is only one way to find out if you will encounter a quiet old boar or a clumsy bruin.
