HORSEHEAD TROPHY HUNTS works very hard maintaining a continual knowledge of our deer herd. When hunting season starts we know where the biggest bucks are living. We have one objective – to put you onto the trophy buck of a lifetime. We operate on approximately 100 square miles (64,000 acres) of pristine Saskatchewan forest fringe habitat. Our trail-cams are positioned and we know where some big old bucks will be working scrape-lines. We have comfortable blinds and proven hunting techniques that will offer our hunters a shot of a lifetime.
Saskatchewan Black Bear Hunting is exciting! Think about this… It is almost impossible to walk 10 yards in the forest without snapping a twig or rustling some leaves. Black bears can move through the thickest brush without making a noise! They are like smoke! These 'ghosts of the darkness' seem to appear out of nowhere. Occasionally black bears are not quiet. As a matter of fact they sometimes make lots of noise as they approach. There is only one way to find out if you will encounter a quiet old boar or a clumsy bruin.

We pride ourselves in repeat hunters each year. Our hunters have quickly become our close friends. We hunt on 75,000 acres of bush and heavy forestland, and 15,000 acres of privately owned land, in the heart of some of the best whitetail deer hunting you will find.
Northern Pride Outfitters have been outfitting for over 20 years. We live on the land we hunt, and run a large cattle ranch. Living here allows us to scout the area with ease. We have a winter feeding program that helps keep the deer in the area, as well as insuring the deer maintain good health even during the long, cold winter months. During the rifle season, we mainly hunt over baits. We spend some time hunting the fields, also. We have many different types of stands, including: enclosed huts, climbers, loungers, ladder stands and lock-ons. You will spend the whole day in your stand, so be prepared for the cold. We do offer propane heaters for those extremely cold days.
