Our Yukon hunts in the past two years in Concession 15 have been highly successful. We have huge expectations for year three of the Yukon hunting season including our Yukon hunts for sheep. Past seasons have been extraordinary. Our Yukon hunts for rifle in the past year was ten for ten. Mature sheep were taken averaging 9 ½ years old with over 38 inches in length. Our official best was 44x43 scoring an impressive 175 1/8 inches. If we know anything about Yukon outfitting it is to provide our clients with great opportunities to harvest trophy animals.

These Yukon hunts offer incredible opportunities to harvest mature, wide, and monstrous bull moose. There have been many over the years that are true monsters some that have went on to live another day and others that are pleasing the hunter over their hearth. As most know the Yukon hunting season for moose is a widely sought after because this destination has a large sustainable population of moose including mature impressive bulls. Pete Jensen Outfitting is a Yukon hunting outfitter that has been solely owned an operated. Pete has been a exceptional Yukon hunting outfitter for nearly 41 years, and his success has been through the knowledge of the area, the animals, and the dedication. Our collection of professional Yukon hunting guides have contributed largely to the success of our clients.

Yukon hunts are very popular for those wanting to harvest a true trophy moose. Our personal best has been a 72” with a yearly average of 57, to 59 inches. Our Yukon hunts start in the rut at the end of August through the middle of October. We also offer Yukon hunts as a combination package to include a moose, caribou, or grizzly. You may carry tags and purchase only after harvesting them.

Our Yukon hunts for grizzlies are on a quota system, and it is very easily added to another Yukon hunt. These extra tags can be added at the time of booking your Yukon hunts. These Yukon hunts for grizzlies have an average of 6 ½ to 8' in size, we recommend adding it on to a ten day moose or caribou Yukon hunt.

We also offer Yukon hunts for Dall and Fannin Sheep. These Yukon hunts average between 36 to 38 inches and have done for many years. Our personal best was a 43 ½ inch sheep! Our Yukon hunts for sheep are primarily done on horseback and foot, glassing valley to valley.

Our Yukon hunts for caribou begin in August while they are still in velvet, which makes for an incredible mount. Over the years we have harvested many caribou that have went into the record books. Our personal best measured 441 points.

Our hunting territory, concession area number 14 is located in central Yukon, 140 air miles north of Whitehorse. Trophy Stone Outfitting is licenced by the Yukon Department of Environment to guide big game hunters within the vast primitive wilderness on Canada’s Yukon Territory. Together we work to make this a prime hunting area with its trophy wild game accessible to hunters world-wide.

Trophy Stone Outfitters is the only permitted big game guiding company in this 7000 square mile area (approximately 4.5 million acres). Using a variety of spike camps throughout the hunting area we are able to offer quality hunting for Stone Sheep, Yukon Moose, Mountain Caribou, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Wolf and Wolverine in the months of August, September, and October. Also available are Spring hunts for Grizzly and Black Bear and winter hunts for Wolf. You will find unbelievable fishing in the many lakes and rivers throughout the hunting area.
